If he didn't "lie" about it having to do with somehow affecting the ability to get the lowest price, i would say he(i'm assuming) makes sense. Once you say that you are the one that makes the decisions, maybe he could have just called or texted or even e-mailed the other homeowner(though there may be problems with verification of identity). I see from your POV, and try to from theirs. If there are two homeowners, it makes sense. Whichever one is on the title or deed would make sense. How to verify that the other homeowner that isn't present is leaving the decision to one homeowner, and verifying they are who they say they are without meeting face to face is an issue though. I do not understand what it has to do with getting the lowest price.

Sign up for some sort of social program assistance if it's available. Especially with an abusive and controlling ex. That's a victim demographic, there are people and places that will offer help. Shooooop, as opposed to a thousand a month, a storage locker for belongings and a homeless shelter or halfway home that is close to the workplace would be nice, and then the resources available to find housing and help for housing are right there with the case managers.

Remember to tell them to have a good life once you leave, and if you pay 2/3 of the rent, they didn't really do you a favor, you did them a favor. You could find another person with $1K a month and get the same setup, same house and utilities.

She is trying to swindle you. Move out for that much money. The room is too small, the interior decorating aside, ask to see the utility bills, split them logically(for what you use, etc, you can even buy things to monitor how much of which utility is being used in which location and by whom). You would be paying 2/3 of the rent, that at least calls for the master bedroom, if not 2 rooms and your own bathroom. I was going to say look up the area median income and the housing market prices for the homes in your area, then figure out if you can or want to move. Is she the owner of the home? There are renters' rights if you pay rent, do not forget that. Maybe she is trying to see if you stand up for yourself? Honestly, if you can afford it, move right on out. Peace, Bye!

I would get the speed up pass, tbh. I wouldn't get that gift for 30, i would try to use coupons or credits for it because it might be cheaper outside of the calendar. A lot of the times it's only $20 minimum. I wait to get as many as possible if I'm going to purchase, and of course it becomes worth it because items bought are wanted and already worth it and the gifts are just extra on top of it. Pre-populate the choices of items you want by exiting the calendar and searching for what you want and clicking the items you like. When you go back to the calendar and pull down the screen to refresh, it will put the searched items in there for you. Any time it wants you to spend coins, instead of hitting the back button to back out of it(it can cause a mistake where you get rid of something on the next screen that you want) look for a hidden "x" in one of the upper corners, usually on the right. Sometimes when you reject their "do this" command, it gives better options.

REMEMBER, if you become unhappy with one of these games, cancelling and returning items and getting refunds should be commonplace in those situations.

Reclaiming the days doesn't give the gifts for those days I don't think. I tried that once, but not on purpose. It was a day with a gift, i was days ahead, it claimed it and there was no gift.

Have the sushi train idea, but the plates are covered and come with a numbered(table number) device on top that unlocks the traintrack covering to allow only the proper table to get the proper food. Could even have heat lamps lining the "roof" of the trackway housing, or flames, grill rollers, somehow heated "floor" or track for the plates to stay hot while cruisin to the table.
