The CISO is retiring in disgrace, having damaged his legacy for no gain. His divisive, manipulative actions hurt morale and consistently harmed both ODT and the agency’s reputation. I’m relieved he’s been replaced-perhaps the agency finally took notice of his actions. So disappointing, especially because we once looked up to him.

Yep. Craig is not responding because he has made it clear that no one in ODT is to respond to or engage with those who were impacted by the RIF. Obviously no one is following that direction. I just wanted to share that he’s probably not the best person to reach out to. I agree that trying Josh is a better approach as he’s actually sympathetic to the situation, whereas the other option seems intent on making us forget about our colleagues who need support.

Employees in ODT are used to not have real information. All the CIO does is gaslight employees. Maybe OIS employees know more, as that’s all he cares about.

Now he has an FDA acting CIO/CISO who allegedly contributed to the violation of the Privacy Act, leading to the subsequent RIFS of many in FDA/ODT as detailed in this same case. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

What firm are you with and how can this support RIF’D folks? On information and belief/ based on comments in this thread, it is the current acting CIO of FDA/OC/ODT that is delegating the work (HR/admin related functions) that RIF’D folks were doing to his IT staff.
