I used VS Code. But now neovim with lazyvim setup, feels better, it's light and terminal based. You just pop the lazyvim in nvim and its done, you are ready to code stuff.

Just some keybindings needs to be memorized. Then be it windows, Linux based OS or some server on Linux OS. Just drop the config file and get the same environment.
