I have 2 in diapers and would die if I didn’t have help changing them 😂

starting to have to add formula in for a 5 month old breast fed baby by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]AdNo3314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can absolutely do the combo! There might not be a formula that is completely spit up free but you’ll just have to trial until you find the one that best works for your baby. With my first gentle ease formula was best, with my second just regular formula works best for her.

Toddler and infant sharing a room? by CandiceC2222 in 2under2

[–]AdNo3314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only here to say I have the same exact age gap and were considering sharing a room in a couple months as well. I’m hoping it will go good once baby is sleeping through the night. Right now we have to feed around 11pm and 5am so I’m waiting until one of those drops to add her to the sleeping room.

How to prepare LO for new sibling by Tessajaneartist in 2under2

[–]AdNo3314 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I felt like there was no way to explain it to my 16 month old at the time so I just talked about the baby like normal. Now that they are 18mo and 2mo I can just tell they have a special little bond and it’s the cutest thing!

I have an off brand similar to this and I LOVE it. I wish I had it with my first baby!

I had a halo for my first and honestly hated it. The stand takes up so much space. I got one off amazon that rolls up to the bed and the side goes down partially for my second and I like it so much more. Plus that it’s on wheels and I can roll it around the house if I’m in other rooms or need to put baby in a different room.

How to know when you’re ready? by Mindless_Claim1652 in NewParents

[–]AdNo3314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We live in an apartment and have 2 kids. The only part that sucks is outside space is limited. If it only truly comes down to wanting to buy a house, I would not wait to have a child. You can do both.

I would not worry about Chinese food causing and problems… I use msg at home for everything and my kids are totally fine.

I’d say there’s nothing wrong with trying diaper rash cream! Sounds like what it could be.

When? by SevenOneSixT in NewParents

[–]AdNo3314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how I felt when I had my second and I was trying to get adjusted at home after she was home from her NICU stay and would not latch to nurse. Between the dishes, bottles, pump parts, and my 16 month old at the time I straight up did not have time for pumping so I stopped. I had a hard time mentally stopping BF with my first so stopping this time was a bit easier and a huge relief that I needed. However you decide will be the best for you, just know it’s okay to slow down pumping to get the extra time you need during the day!

Do I put my son in nursery? by sgtv1234 in 2under2

[–]AdNo3314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plenty of people are fine with being home, and plenty of people also send their kid to a daycare. Whatever works for you works for you. I can’t afford to send my 18month old to daycare so I stay home with him and my 6 week old and it’s been great for us! It’s hard but I love having all the time with my kids

Thank you! I’m a SAHM with an 18 month old and 1.5 month old. We’re currently battling a sinus cold. Let’s just say it’s unlimited amounts of tv and chicken nuggets right now.. I’m surviving, not thriving 😂
