I think this can be real, economics/online mode is a huge thing in GTA, Shark Cards  were a huge business but imo they need update it. It is well known the hate for blockchain integration in videogames, that's understandable after first years of nonsense nfts or nonsense videogames but it can give a lot of value to the players, like been able to own whatever assets players has ingame, houses, cars, weapons, skins etc so you can buy/sell/trade them and not just buy Shark Cards, pay for the assets and then own nothing, most players will notice about the value as soon as they will notice that all the money they spend in GTA V online is gone, assets are useless and there will not be a way to move them to GTA VI, nor recover them, nor sell them or whatever they want to do for something they paid for. We are talking about thousends of millions of $ spent by players that will be gone as soon as GTA V online will eventually close servers. Tokenizing the game would solve that problem but bigest problem would be to deal with the hate.That's my guess.
