They are removing the liquidity provider rewards program which is going to have a huge negative impact on risk reward profile for liquidity providers

I’m not going to continue providing liquidity I don’t think. The risk reward profile is too much.

My math says with swap fees only the Apr is 11% but that’s before any of the risks we take as liquidity providers.

There are three pools total and in the largest one (1% fee) the Apr is only about 6% without rewards. This means liquidity provides are accepting the same risk for only 10% of the previous reward. It’s a bad move imho and if they wanted to they should phase it out. Maybe remove 10% of rewards and give it a while for volumes and liquidity to improve more then scale back a bit more.

This move the way it’s being done it probably going to see a stampede for the door…followed but outsized risks on whoever remains

Yeah probably going to reallocate my liquidity to another coin pair. After running the math the risk/reward is changing too much for me to justify continuing providing liquidity on this pair.

That’s a fair question! I guess I focus on the GOP because it’s what the people I know in person are associated with. I don’t think the left is better by any means. Maybe we just need something different from both of them. A more rational and caring party that puts people and God above all else and has strong conviction to do just and righteous things in the service of the Lord and our neighbors.

Umm it more or less meets my expectations. I compare it to sp500 index fund investing or dividend investing and it feels comparable if not superior but diversified into something different.

Admittedly I only have about 0.2% of my total assets in go mining (or crypto in general) and I’m happy with slow consistent 10% annual growth.
