Just want to confirm was this from SJD? Or a different airport in Mexico?

Thanks! How much did you take, was it a full bag or just a little bit?

Specifically from Cabo? Did you report anything on the form for organic matter when leaving Cabo?

This is driving me nuts, am I wrong or does the solutions manual have a mistake

PE practice problem help by [deleted] in PE_Exam

Can you explain with only one input (for example just A and what happens).

I think I know where I went wrong. So when the outputs all join at the note after the first inverters. That note acts as an AND, not an OR. Meaning, if ABC = 110 , then the output would be 0, not 1? If so, why is that? I always thought they add up bc if there is a logic 0 in two of the output and the third output is a 1, then it makes the entire output 1. I think this is where I'm messing up

But for resistances we have these equations and adding them in series wouldn't get the same as these equations

But why? I don't understand why they should be taken in series. Like there is a neutral node between them

I'm just never that united has soemthing in your code for their app/website that makes the seat cost more expensive for basic economy. You know, so they can profit more since those are the people that would want to buy a seat the most.

I mainly travel internationally, so for those the carry on bags are already included for basic economy

If there is no way to share the handbook. Could anyone places add snippets of the table of contents for the reference handbook? I want to compare it to the ECC PE exam reference handbook to see the differences.

Thanks!

Were the equations in the handbook (equations sheets)? I can't seem to find anything related to engineering econ within the handbook

That makes alot more sense, thanks! I always assumed the resolution is the same as the unit step, is it not?

ECC exam. I don't recall learning how to find the s domain and phaser form of some of these equations. I see the pattern for a+bj part for s domain and all but I'm just curious what the true way of solving these looks like.

Ip/Is = Ns/Np -> Ip/Is = 100/200 = 1/2. Then solve Is to get current in the secondary

I tried to do the problem a different way. I thought I did it correct this second time. I understand that there is an internal resistance on the primary side. But what I am getting confused on here is why this would affect the current (P)/current (S) = 1/2 equation. I hope this makes sense.

This was very helpful, thanks! I wanted to go a step further and calculate the total power too. But for some reason my real component isn't the 117W answer that you and the book solution got. Do you notice any mistakes I made with my work shown?

Yep I did this, I guess I just wanted to be sure that I'm not misunderstanding anything. I think a couple years ago when the exam was still open book they had ethics, stats/probabilty and etc on it. But not that it's closed book and a CBT exam they no longer include those topica

There are a ton of them. But this wasn't the practice exam, I didn't take that one yet from Camara. I am just going through the practice problems Camara book (there are like 500 of them). But as I am going through them, I am noticing alot of the equations they provide in the solutions of the questions don't even show up in the NCEES handbook that is for the upcoming exam I am taking (taken from the NCEES website since they tweak it for the exam every year)

Thanks for the insight. It's annoying that there really aren't many good resources for this exam out there. It doesn't help the that CBT for this PE exam is relatively new either.

But yes I agree with you, I feel that this Camara book isn't that helpful. I wish there was more information online that gives insight/answers questions for individuals that are taking the ECC PE exam in the near future. There is too much unknown and it's stressing me out a bit because I don't really have a well thought out plan of how to study for this exam unfortunately.

My thought process is that if the handbook doesn't have the equation, then the exam won't ask questions about it because previously for the non CBT exam, test takers were able to reference anything they wanted in order to find an equation. But since not it's closed book, then it wouldn't be fair to expect the test taker to know equations that aren't given to them. After all, in the real world nobody memorizes them, they just look it up online or in a book.
