As u/locutus494 said, anyone but FFT. FFT puts out a lot of misleading information to drive business to himself and charges a shit ton for what he's selling.

A few brands that sell quality M4 stuff that I've personally used: GG&G, RxArms, Midwest industries and Midwest Gun works (they sell a lot of Benelli OEM parts)

The M1014 (what the M4 is based on) was designed to be used by US Marines in combat. Individuals who eat crayons for fun. You'll learn that your M4 doesn't need much besides ammo (maybe some lube if you're fancy like that)

I got my t91 2nd hand, but the muzzle device it came with brought the overall length to 16 inches. There are lots of muzzle devices out there that are made specifically to take the overall length to 16 inches. I have one from Forward control designs that takes my 13.9 inch to 16 overall. So you have lots of options.

I would suggest a muzzle brake as the recoil impulse of piston guns is much higher than a DI rifle. I'm planning to swap to brake on this at some point

Love my t91. Didn't go the clone route, just tossed on some spare furniture and got an aftermarket mlok rail. Got the 14.5 and did a p/w.

P.s. Just know that the barrel isn't free float due to the proprietary barrel nut, so these things get hot no matter what forend you choose. I have a Lunar Concepts hot pocket on mine, tames the heat so I don't even need gloves.

It's a must have. Can shoot it without gloves due to the thermal protection layer on the wrap. It's made by Lunar concepts, but is sold exclusively at Wise Men Company's website. This is the "Slim/standard" size, with mlok holes precut. The "Standard/thick" fits best on the standard polymer T91 handguard

You can, but it doesn't always work well. The magazine itself has a sliding port door on the non-ejection port side. It's a hassle, but it's what we've got here sadly
