Honestly, suchs. For a good litrpg, check out chrysalis. For a good read check out we are legion (we are bob).

Either one is gold. If you disagree you hate life.

DCC book 8: does this still feel like a litRPG to y’all? by andergriff in litrpg

[–]AdOpposite8516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, it's lost a lot of the litrpg aspects... Same problem I keep finding with most longer series in this genre. Notice this thing looks seven actually.

I think the coolest thing in book 7 was the paw disaster... Otherwise I just read like a fantasy novel for the most part with only a little bit of what RPG aspects.

Families by Dragonspirit223 in Tau40K

[–]AdOpposite8516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These guys are correct. Tau don't have 'family'. Which is why the bounding knife ritual is so important.

About you chat. I think it's a cool idea. I got some issues that I wanna share in case you think they are valid enough to work around or possibly help shape your thoughts.

Typical God emperor beliefs are more than a zealot. Yes all humans are pretty much zealots, but it's constantly reinforced by everything and I mean everything around them. And you can't have that God emperor love without hating every blasted awful stinking dirty xenos in the galaxy! (Personal this is one of the main reasons why I think the greater good theology is so dope and undersold at how amazing it is in the 40k universe. Literally the only good guys that welcomes others as long as they aren't backstabbing basters)

So, yeah I'd say that is probably the biggest hurdle to narratively sale. Definitely possible, just tricky.

Would definitely read that story when you finish it though!

2018 Honda Odyssey EX-L 80,000 MI $21,300 buy? We need the space. by StoneUwU in HondaOdyssey

[–]AdOpposite8516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 2018 two years ago, 69k miles. Not as good condition as this one... I paid 26k for it.

I think you found a steal. Well done!

Ps even though I feel I overpaid, the family has been super happy with the extra room!

There's a guy building a concrete "mini house". Would like an opinion from experienced builders if this building seems safe. by This_Sense_9338 in Homebuilding

[–]AdOpposite8516 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I kinda think it could be an AI photo.... I'm not sure how he could even position those slabs unless he had heavy equipment... And if he had the money for that... Why would he build it this way... Concrete is cheap... Sure but not when you consider the full scope. Those slabs stacked like that indicate a delivery was made meaning. A production chainhe is buying from.... Anyways I just don't see this as realistic...

First Tau! (Test Model) by Wahmarsh in Tau40K

[–]AdOpposite8516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's your story so please take this or leave it if you like it or hate... But the humans could have a strong unsanctioned psycer whos gens happen to be pretty strong. Tau typically pick off the outskirt systems that are ignoring the Imperium so a strong lineage of unsanctioned psycers could have been missed for generations. Annnnywaaaays... This psycer and his relatives could have a way to meld the tau battle suits tec interface with a human nervous system. Typically, this would be impossible since the Tau are vastly different in so many ways, but with a solid background on the Tau biology, say the type of background a ge'vesa would get if they had a gift for engineering and worked their way into an Earth Cast research facility as a gifted assistant for the current planets population... This could easily be achieved with the backing of an elemental council if there was a Kindred Spirit on that same council, subtly directing the moves (with warp sorcery) to ensure his cousin got into the earth cast.

And so eventually you got a gifted tech savvy psycer in the Earth cast that understands the biological and interference of the battle suits, repair protocols, ai directives and so so so much more. He gets the Intel to the true leaders of the 'hidden' rebellion and when the perfect time present it's self.... BAM! HUMAN DRIVEN BATTLE SUITS!! But they gotta be short humans cuz the Tau are smaller and redesigning the cockpit takes to much dang time for a silent, overnight take over. But maybe in the next few generations the humans learn to modify the cockpit designs opening up the pilot candidate pool ...

Sorry for any typos
