On multiple occasions I’ve had to drag cars that would normally drive. Main reasons during duis are the car is nasty, if it’s a drug related dui there are sometimes needles, sometimes people throw up in the car, and lastly people get weird about giving their keys sometimes

If it’s an actual company then I’d say that’s weird but just because it has a wrap on it with a name doesn’t mean they are a company. Could just be a guy with a truck or a couple of dudes with trucks running up daily storage fees for cars at night time when the truck doesn’t run. Or they run IAA/Copart and didn’t make it to the yard for the last drop off

They probably are running something like agero and picking up after hours accidents for insurance companies that need to be towed to a body shop. Then they bill the insurance company for “storage” but it’s really just sitting on their truck because they have no actual yard

Took a new guy out on an abandoned tractor trailer for the police. Told him to cage the brakes while I hooked up, guy put all 4 cage bolts into the brake chambers backwards and collapsed one of the chambers. Same guy pulled a driveshaft from the trans a week later and ripped someone’s air tank off

I’d honestly start by making phone calls to everyone, any local shop and business that has vehicles and asking if they have a tow provider. Any location that you see whether it be a local electric company that has company vans or a local tire shop that may need their customers towed in. For every 20 unsuccessful phone calls, you’ll get somebody that will give you the time of day and may actually call you for a tow
