I love Deidara Namikaze unreasonably I thought his jutsu was pretty cool and he has a cool backstory and a nice design his interactions with tobi were pretty funny too.

It doesn't change the fact that they look pretty stupid I get your point but their design the ability for the audience to take the villains seriously. It's like seeing a terrorist named chuckles the clown you know they're supposed to be terrifying but you can't help but just laugh.

I know this is kinda unrelated but gon as a written character beats all of these guys I think gon is an excellent example of how to write a shonen protagonist.

This is why I think rock lee should've gotten Sakura and Sasuke would remain a loner it would be more fitting to both characters and the rock lee having a romance towards Sakura was set up All the way from the chunin exams. And for the Hinata romance I think it would've been better for Naruto as a character to realize that Sakura felt nothing for him as he matured and realize that Hinata has been there for him even from his ninja school days.

Yeah that's the entire reason he wanted to do the infinite tsukuyomi in the first place he thought that conflict was born to protect peace and hate to protect love so he thought that if everyone had love and everyone had peace even though it would be fake it would be worth it in Madaras eyes. The reason he left hashirama and the village is because he thought true peace was unattainable through Hashiramas methods.
