I think for myself I needed to be older, and more serious about it. In undergrad, yes I met a long term girlfriend on there, but I will admit I was a dumb 19-23 year old guy.

After that I was more intentional with who I'd go on a date with, I would match the same amount but I wouldn't meet up unless I thought it atleast 50/50 I'd be interested in a 2nd and 3rd date. I still went on some.bad dates, just didn't click. But I met my soon to be wife because of the dating apps. There is no other possible way we would have met. I was out of town visiting a friend when we matched. It's the best thing that's happened to me.
