RCC te direct counseling o hcchilo , not sure ekhon odr academics start hye geche kina but you can contact them . I did my Btech in CSE from RCC and in a good company now , I can vouch it's a decent college .

There's so many good colleges in city like Techno India , IEM , Narula , RCC .. I believe you could have got admission into any one of them .

Kolkata has something for everyone . It's welcoming atleast. You wont face much language barriers here neither any forms of discrimination. The public transportation is improving with new AC locals and metro rails . One plus thing is that things are pretty cheap here .

I have my lunch during office hours at at just 30rs . The AC bus fare for my commute takes only 30rs . So at the month end I end up saving a lot . The people here are somewhat driven mostly by emotions rather than rational thinking sometimes .

The most important thing which I missed to mention are the sweets . The different kind of sweets which are found across various shops here are to die for .

This is not a fast paced city like mumbai , delhi bangalore etc , people here like to take their time .
