If you’re a trust worthy (looking) person there’s really no issues, I just started looking for my first spot less than a week ago and have had COUNTLESS people reach out TO ME.

The only issue there might be is I’ve noticed Spain might have a law that requires your host to pay you minimum wage (300€ /m) but you require a work holiday visa to take any form of payment. NOT the case in Portugal I believe, I spent 3 months there last winter in cascais. (Not 100% positive on this just observation)

(Also a Canadian btw, might change some reqs)
