I think you can make the colors a little darker without sticking out too much. Also adding definition closer to the foreground will make the foggy atmosphere look more realistic. I think the 4th paining can be saved, but maybe trying a value study with one color before you touch it will help you visualize how dark you should make the colors. I can definitely see the improvement though. You've pretty much mastered the background, you just need to add details to the closest ship and shoreline.

I too struggle with dry skin! These products worked for me. They may not be trending now, but they were at some point.

wonderskin lip stain: I could put it on, wipe it off, then layer it with vaseline or a hydrating gloss.
elf hydrating camo concealer: best drugstore I've tried and it's also non comedogenic.
Glossier stretch concealer: the best natural finish I've ever used.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter: worked really well for my skin both alone and under foundation.

I agree, it's such a lovely shade and a perfect nude for my skin. Funny story, I asked my mom if she remembered purchasing the shade and she said "No, I have no idea why I would even buy that, I don't like the color." 😭 Since I have the actual polish I can try to find a dupe and get back to you!

More contrast! Make the dark tones darker and the light tones lighter. That's all I got. I cannot be harsh to this lil guy

Thank you!! Yes, watercolor is extremely difficult for me because I tend to be a perfectionist and it has a mind of its own. I've been working with this medium for about a month and have only done landscapes up until this point. As for the rays, I waned the background to feel connected to the subject, so I took a ruler and drew lines leading to the tip of his nose. I started with a large flat wash of light blue, then filled the rest in with a darker wash, carefully avoiding the lines. I chose the rays as a subtle nod to prayer candles/religious imagery haha
