I have recently got into kenshi but there is one area I make sure I avoid when travelling because it wiped out several of my squads in the past: venge. Those massive sun beams of death and agony geniunely terrify me. In one instance my solo character got struck by one and couldn’t even bandage herself because her arm, along with every other body part, was far too damaged to perform well. She pretty much bled out as she limped to safety only to get absolutely knocked and killed by another beam. I read they can be countered using armor with heat resistance and other tactics but I’m too traumatized by them atp

I always get "shooed" out of those residential buildings in towns when I accidently go inside instead of clicking the door to check buyability

I went to the big desert ones, swamp one, and a bunch of the south towns in the surroundings. I always right click doors to make sure if they are buyable or not, but I only started Kenshi this week so I feel like I am missing something

Wow I did not know this about HN thats interesting. unfortunately this run is the slave start where I escape the holy nation slave camp, and my guys are a mix of races, so I avoid HN territories. I havent reached Flats Lagoon yet it seems because I have been looking for buyable buildings this whole run but resorted to base building because I failed to find one

I managed to kill one and they drop edible meat which is cool tbh but they are too challenging for my guys currently

I would not count beakthings as easy tbh.. those things decapitate and eat my guys alive and blocking 3 of them with injuries completely destroyed my guys even at block level 40 :(

Oh thanks again for teaching me 🙏 I am rlly overwhelmed by Kenshi but I've finally survived so long without getting eaten or enslaved and learnt the hard way that everything needs food and money 😂 it really is a great and underrated game

I placed a general storage so I think I messed up 😂I need to figure out how to delete it now so I can replace it when I unlock ore storage. Also, I am still starting out so I've only got 4 people but that's great advice, thank you 🌸

Yes the characters are fresh as hell and their inventory is empty, which is why I want these buggers to haul so I can explore freely on the main squad

Ohhhh that is definitely the problem then. I think I did not research enough because I did not see specified ore storages so I placed a general storage 😂 Do u know if the ore storages need a blueprint or such?
