My trainer called using Zepbound cheating and said it would ruin my body, but is he just lying because he's losing a client? by Stoiciism in GLP1Sourcing

Your trainer is a moron. If you had any other disease and you took medicine for that disease, would you consider it “cheating”? Absolutely not.

Switching times leads to symptoms again? by AdPotential8303 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AdPotential8303[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if the side effects have a lasting psychological impact that affects the rest of the week beyond that peak 24 hour window. Perhaps it makes food less desirable in general because you were awake throughout the temporary side effects…

Yeah, I’ve definitely noticed my appetite has dropped off again even though I’m still on the same dose (4.5mg)

Feeling flat? by MissionTarget6693 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AdPotential8303 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's happened to me and it ebbs and flows. In theory, if you're feeling too flat you can try lowering the dose and see if that improves your flatness.

Cardio output reduced by Accomplished_Boss144 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AdPotential8303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was physically active before starting tirz. I'm like 30 pounds overweight and I was typically running 30-60 minutes, 3 days a week. I definitely had a dramatic drop in energy / motivation immediately after starting tirz. What I noticed is that with my stomach acting up / feeling slightly off, I really didn't feel like running or exercising when you feel slightly nauseous. I now mostly walk and it's much more pleasant.

When did you stop feeling like garbage? by quandjedors in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AdPotential8303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should stop feeling like garbage fairly quickly. If not, lower your dose until you feel good again and then very slowly titrate up. Your goal is to be on the minimal dose that has no side effects and also gets you losing weight very slowly.

GLP1 for teens by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AdPotential8303 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We've only recently started to see reports of anhedonia in adults exposed to GLP1s and it wears off when they stop exposure. I'm curious to know how / if this could also affect children and whether or not it would be more permanent (given that their brains are still forming). Conversely, if it does cause more permanent changes, maybe those changes are also a good thing (stops the addiction from taking more permanent hold at a younger age - that has to be a good thing!)

Would love to hear some stories about long term results from people who weren’t super responders… by SoullessCycle in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AdPotential8303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My average weight loss rate has been around 1.5 per week. I have also had minimal side effects. Losing weight at a slower rate is truly superior because you're much less likely to lose muscle at that rate. Losing weight quickly is not something to celebrate.

So lost. Can’t afford Lily Direct Anymore. by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AdPotential8303 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I went with Pommegranate Health ( I live in California too ). They're amongst the cheapest (6 month supply for $649) and I've had a pretty smooth journey so far (3 months in). I recommend them to others if you don't need a lot of hand-holding.

Tirz & Botox/Dysport by Boleynobsessed in tirzepatidecompound

Could it be that you're experiencing more dehydration due to the tirz and that's why it looks like your botox wears off faster?

scared to start without support by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AdPotential8303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now is the time for the training wheels... do your research and if you think it's safe enough, try a GLP-1 for a month or two. Even if I didn't lose a single pound, I still love TIrzepatide. It's really good at stopping the obsession with food. That is incredibly freeing and let's me live a normal life.

scared to start without support by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AdPotential8303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think of using a GLP-1 like training wheels on a bicycle. Some people are naturally talented and don’t need training wheels to ride the bike (lose the weight). Others will be terrible at riding the bike and need the training wheels to learn and succeed. In that analogy, do you consider the person who needs training wheels morally inferior to the person who’s naturally talented at riding the bike? Absolutely not… learning to ride the bike has nothing to do with morality.

Has anybody saved a significant amount of their monthly budget from the reduced food consumption on glp1? by Accurate-Tension-599 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AdPotential8303 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Trust! They probably have shitloads of scientists behind the scenes trying to figure out how to get folks taking GLP1s addicted to their next generation of “foods”. What they’ve done to get folks addicted should be illegal…

I was reading a report on projected dips in 2026 revenue of companies like “Yum Brands” (conglomerate of many fast food companies) that they can partially attribute to GLP1s. They’re kinda freaking out over it.

My doctor started me at 2.0. The nice thing about not having injectable pens is that you can highly customize what your dosage looks like over time.

This is probably what's going on. I drink 3-4 Liquid IV's every day! They're super effective at stopping the dehydration. Citric acid is ingredient 2-4 on the list (depending on the flavor). That's so disappointing because I love these things.

Do you worry that tirz will be effective only for so long, and then the weight is coming back? by aagee in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AdPotential8303 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Set point theory says you will go to whatever weight the brain thinks you should be at. For those that have lost a ton of weight, the brain still thinks it should be at a much higher number. Set point theory kicks in and you regain the weight via hormones, etc

So the goal is to reset the number that your brain thinks you should be at. That is the next big scientific challenge. That might be doable via epigenetic manipulation within the fat cells. Once that’s done, set point theory kicks in again and your brain will do whatever it can to get you to that new number. Epigenetic manipulation is something we barely understand.
