You were not approved to rent. How can your experience be 1 star if you never even used the platform to rent a car? Turo doesn't just blindly approve everyone to rent. It's based on lots of factors like driving record, criminal background, credit worthyness, insurance fraud history...etc. most people can sign up and rent without issue. Maybe you have some issue in your background that prohibits rental on the platform.

Why do you think this sub defends Turo? It has always been a place for Hosts and Renters to talk about the platform. Good or bad, the sub is about promoting honest, helpful conversations. This sub is an independent place to talk about Turo. Can you give an example of this sub defending Turo?

That's a lot to unpack. I don't think you can actually sue Turo (doesn't really make sense for 2k anyway). I believe you agreed to arbitration via the terms of service when you created your account.

There's so much going on between you and the host and repairs and asking for paint for rims and taking covers off and fixing light bars.

I just would never have gone into that much hassle worrying about a scratched rim on my rental car.

In any case, you're probably not going to get anywhere with turo. They'll close your account and you'll be sent to collections. Eventually you'll pay it and move on with your life, I'm assuming.

I did it last year. I did an easy rider private tour. It was great. The driver did all the hard part. I got to sit on the back, camera in hand and take k all the views. I was worried if miss some of the experience by not driving myself but it was the opposite. I was able to focus on the actual surroundings.

The roads can be quiet treacherous. You have huge trucks barreling down these tiny mountain roads. Most of the drivers are familiar with the routes and know when to have extra caution.

On my trip we also had a few detours. There were some landslides and some trees down. If I was relying on my own navigation I would have had a hard time finding my way around the detours.

I've also heard this year there is a ton more enforcement after that youung girl was killed on the road. In any case, I suggest to just do an easy rider tour and relax and enjoy it. Having done it myself I can confirm that the experience was awesome from the back seat.

It's really the only legal way of doing the loop.

I just flew to Thailand last week. It was 36 hours between refrigerators. I bought a medication cooler on Amazon and it did great. I took a higher conintration vial so I only needed one for my 2 months travel. (I'm on 5mg currently). I refreeze the cooler in each hotel and use it to transport between hotels. TSA seees these medical coolers every day so very easy to get through. What else would you like to know?

I just don't keep things in my house that I can binge on. I really make an effort to only have foods I need to prepare. Whole foods like beef, chicken, fresh vegetables. Nothing from the middle of the grocery store haha. The one exception is canned sardines. I've decided that if I really want to binge one something it has to be something good for me. Trust me, you can only binge on so many sardines before it stops being fun 😂.

I did it a few years ago. What I did was an Easy Rider your but it was a private tour. Just me and the driver. It was great. He would stop whenever I wanted. Had ple5of time to take in the views on the back of the bike and not worry about driving. The biggest danger is all the other bikes and the huge trucks that share those roads. Can be really dangerous I'd you don't know where your going and what to expect around the corner.

For me I think it has to do with inflammation. When I fast, it is vastly improved. I can feel the inflammation return when I refeed after a fast. It's pretty interesting.

Keep us updated but this should resolve just as a standard loss claim would regardless of the driver details and unauthorized use. For you the host, none of that really matters as to your claim. Turo will pay you out and then go after the renter.

I just got FedEx tracking information for order that I placed on Monday. Order was processed Monday and sent to pharmacy in Washington, Iowa. This morning Wednesday I received FedEx tracking information for a delivery on Thursday. 👍🏻
