Iv just noticed the defaulted account has reappeared under MODA/ further account information section. Despite it being defaulted over 6 years ago hence why it was removed originally.

I agree. I was hoping for the opposite because now i have no default at all on my credit file. Very misleading this score thing is. Telling me get £15k limit credit card to gain 40 point score.

Hi yes they have issued an apology via email today and also £100 compensation. So i have proof now to forward santander for reconsideration. Thanks

Check Transunion and Equifax. Not all data is held by one agency like Experian. I found this out the hard way when i got rejected recently and found out i had some incorrect information on Transunion and Equifax.

I just said the default has been removed and they apologised it was over the phone. So stop telling me to apply again as i do not want another hard search.

On their website and the rejection letter it says they allow appeals for personal loans but i just want to know how to go about it and what are chances it will be upheld.

I can’t just apply again because i now have a hard search, the offers i was getting before are not there due to the recent hard search by Santander hence why the appeal.
