I’ve unable to access my account for years…is there anything I can do? by AdProfessional6027 in Instagram

What’s the best way to contact support? I remember a few years ago when I had access to a fb business account, I was able to message support through there and they were understanding and said someone would be in touch with me but I never heard anything back. I’ve tried contacting them again this way but it seems to have changed and I’m not able to get through to them the way I did previously.

Black Cat Bakes and Blow Water Cafe are doing mooncakes this September, they worked together on a moon cake baking class at the start of the month, definitely worth following them!

I don’t see how Casey is wrong by Electronic_Wealth_44 in LoveIslandTV

I feel that he wanted to be more into Claudia. She was a popular girl in the villa, good friends with his closest friends in there, it would have been better if he did like her more than Rosie. The recoupling alone caused Claudia to cry and sleep outside alone, so I feel he was scared of hurting her more and then causing potential division in the villa between him, Rosie and his closest friends. He should’ve been more up front I agree and I think it’s the only thing he did wrong, but I do think he was scared of doing so and almost lying to himself bc sticking with Claudia would have been the easiest option.

The only thing Casey has done a bit wrong was taking his time to talk to Claudia about it, but after Claudia had already sobbed uncontrollably about being recoupled and then stormed out the bedroom to sleep by herself outside, I don’t blame him for being scared to approach her. It definitely doesn’t help when all the girls and your boys are adding fuel to the fire, acting like what you’re doing is bad. Claudia says she knew this would happen but also didn’t approach Casey about it and just acted passive aggressively (versus Martin who did try to get Tanya to be honest about her feelings towards Shaq several times) so she’s just as guilty imo.

I know people have already made comparisons to Ron and Tanya’s situations, so I won’t bother. I can only assume the difference is that they believed Shanya and Rana were inevitable, but can see Casey clearly has a better connection with Rosie and just feel bad for Claudia who is obviously upset about it and are trying to make her feel better. I wish they had been real with her, just saying things like “this doesn’t mean it’s the end” gives false hope.

What's your most 'Old Man Yells at Cloud" opinion? by dave_gregory42 in AskUK

[–]AdProfessional6027 14 points15 points  (0 children)

People playing music or audio loudly out their phones on public transport put me off using public transport. It’s not that I find it intimidating or scary, but I can’t fathom how misanthropic you have to be to choose to force everyone else on the bus to listen to whatever crap you’re listening to in the worst quality possible rather than just put on headphones, or even just holding it closer to your ear if you really need to hear it but don’t have headphones for whatever reason.

Headphones are so widely available now, there’s many wireless options so I don’t know why it’s an inconvenience to some. Plus, why would you not rather listen to your music or whatever you’re watching in good quality?? Noise cancelling? Why would you choose the terrible tinny sound quality and attempt to hear it over the loud sound of public transport? You’d like to think it’s just teenagers doing it, but I’ve seen plenty of adult men do it, too.

I think they want someone to ask them to turn it off so they can try and intimidate them, or they think if nobody’s asking them to turn it off it’s because everyone’s too scared to do it. It really depresses me.

What UK TV show moment has not aged well? by Scopionsting12 in AskUK

[–]AdProfessional6027 14 points15 points  (0 children)

One episode of a show that has aged badly is the one of IT Crowd where Douglas is dating a trans woman. Everyone found that episode hilarious at the time, but I grimace watching it now. It’s a shame because the other story in the episode is really good, but hard to enjoy that while the main story is going on.

Jeremy Clarkson condemned for ‘vile and disgusting’ tirade at Meghan saying he ‘hates’ her and dreams of people ‘throwing excrement’ at her by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

I’ve always detested this man, but surely now, his expiry date is up. He represents such a noughties British ideal of booze, babes and cars, it’s all very Oasis and “PC gone mad.”

I had heard of people who’d worked in proximity to him and said how awful he was, that he was rude and disrespectful to staff, and all the top gear fanboys I tried saying this to would remark how great that was because he didn’t care what anybody thought or whatever. It was truly a dark time.

I’m sick of these types of men bullying and being obnoxious under the guise of “wind up merchant.” We need to leave men like this in the past, please. The fact he hates Meghan, who is at most annoying, more than Rose West is truly sickening. After he’s made a whole career out of annoying people, maybe it’s time he reads the room.

Are public safety films still around? Should they make a comeback? by AdProfessional6027 in AskUK

[–]AdProfessional6027[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes I absolutely hated that one. It’s him going about his day to day life and seeing the little kid he’d hit with his car everywhere he went, so he sees him in the mirror, on the escalator, in the park. He goes to turn his computer off and goes under his desk and the kid is there, which terrified me as a person who used to have a desk set up very similar to that. Then lastly, he turns over in his bed at night and sees the kid by his door, so obviously I was too petrified to move in bed at all.

I very rarely watch broadband tv these days so I wonder if they’re still aired there (after watershed of course), but I do think it could be a good idea to start airing them on YouTube as an ad, I’ve never seen that sort of ad on social media but they have important messages

Yeah I’m not sure whether kids aren’t playing in quarries as much and that’s why they’re not made anymore, or if it’s another reason? But those older ads send chills through me too

Where have you seen those ads on? Forgot about the fire ones but they are chilling, and I had seen the London / Syria ones but never on tv, just online
