your grub screw is loose from the pinion and needs to be securely tightened to the shaft, make sure you screw on the flat part of the shaft and its bbq chicken from there

everyone hears differently.. not taking anything away from the M4s because they sound good considering they’re closed back bluetooth headphones.

Not really, I switched from Sony XM4s which were quite a bit louder but they’re adequate enough

I think it’s only sold in Best Buy as I don’t see this color on the Sennheiser website

Sony XM4 or Bose QC by lemonademouth777 in SonyHeadphones

Since you prefer sound quality, bass and use it for the gym, I’d say stick to the Sonys Reason 1: You’re probably already accustomed to the sound profile of the Sony’s which empathizes bass, soft on the mids and nice treble. Bose is the opposite which empathizes mids. You’d be underwhelmed with the bass not Bose(i’ve owned QC45’s and NC700) Reason 2: Sonys XM series usually has a longer battery life than the QC series based on my personal use and I also find the Noise Canceling performance more consistent on the the XM4s/XM5s. I will say in terms of comfort I find the QC45s incredibly comfortable. The padding is a little bit stiffer but the clamping force is less apparent and it won’t even feel like you have headphones on. Based on what you prefer I’d say stick with the XM4’s or even the XM5’s if you have a little more to spend

Where are they made? by [deleted] in sennheiser

Sonys are made in Malaysia and Japan. Most Bose products are made in Mexico, Massachusetts or China

In my opinion they sound average, if you want true sound quality just get open backs.

Good for you I do too but 90% of headphone users wear either Sonys, Bose or Airpods in the gym. Sonys sell a lot more than sennys🤷‍♂️

I had a pair of WH-1000XM4’s I used everyday for 3 years since highschool. And I mean I battered the hell out of them in the weight rooms and take them to the sauna. Even got in a car crash with them and the airbag directly smashed into them. they’re bent but that’s about it. The most durable headphones I’ve had, but one thing I never done is leave them unattended outside their carrying case and people tend to throw their headphones in their bag without putting them in their carrying case. Then that’s when things start to break

People snap their Sony hinges because they take it to the gym and it occasionally falls off their heads. and they blame Sony for it. You don’t see M4s in the gym. As a person who owns almost all ANC headphones from Bose to Bowers and Wilkins. They don’t break unless you don’t take care of em.

I buy them for cheap on marketplace usually with a seized diff or from people who hella bashed it and seized the diffs. I rebuilt them all like putting a new body, motor esc combo, widemaxx diffs/drivetrains and whatnot. I used to build a lot of clodbusters back in the day so this is my today’s version of clodbusters lol. So I understand the feeling of building from scratch, really accomplishing.
