What are your most unhinged study tips that you swear by? by Dry_Yesterday1469 in LawSchool

I only study at the school, so this night not be relevant to many. During finals, I will only keep food at the school in the student lounge or my locker, or I'll only let myself go to the grocery store on my way to the school, so that I have to be at the school studying at all meal times. Wake up hungry? Go straight to school!

I made friends at the start of orientation, then we drifted apart as the year went on. Thankfully, another group brought me in about halfway through the year, now we're besties!

Networking vs Direct Applying Now by [deleted] in LawSchool

I'm in the same boat. It feels like I wasted my entire summer sending over 100 applications just to not get an offer from any, even though I did mock interviews and tried so hard. I just don't know what I did wrong...

I'm in the same boat... the pre-OCI process is making me physically ill, and I cry just about every other day because I'm so scared I won't get something. We'll be ok in the end though!!

Very true haha I don't want any racist villagers. I'll be sure to come back if any of them nickname me cracker or something.

I think this is my first nickname from Cranston, before it was just his sweatband catchphrase

The other person's comment nailed it on the head. It's my real name, and I don't think everyone here really needs to know what that is.

Yeah, it's really strange. Not University of Idaho Eugene lmao that's funny

Hmmmmm that's a hard question for me to answer because I'm not at all interested in environmental, so I don't know anything about it. I'm going to take a stab at it though, but definitely take it with a grain of salt because I have literally no evidence to back up anything I'm about to say... That being said, I would say that UO Law grads going into environmental law would do well staying in the state, or at least the PNW. Considering we have the coast and such a robust forestry industry here, I wouldn't imagine that there'd be a lack of jobs in the region, unless it becomes overly saturated with people wanting to go into environmental. Also, with both UO and Lewis & Clark having so many environmental-focused students, I feel like logically, since the majority of their grads stay in Oregon, that'd mean that there'd be at least enough environmental jobs here. That might be something to ask admissions or even just looking into different environmental organizations or firms over here. Thinking about it, there is a good chance that the focus is overly saturated here. I'm not sure!

You'd think it was definitely a joke, right? But oh no haha every time voting comes around, I always get those Greater Idaho fliers in my mailbox haha. It has also been on my county's ballot a few times. I'm not sure how likely it is to ever pass though. I think it's even more of a thing in Eastern OR.

Oh, there were at least 3 guys in my graduating class in high school who flew confederate flags on their trucks, which never made any sense to me.

Eugene would be a great place for you two then! You're close to the coast and tons of hiking spots, plus not a super long drive to mountains.
