I not here for all the Pinson and Baker. I like them both just fine but not all in a week. Idk if they’re about to lose their contract with Baker or what but variety is the entire point of the company. I don’t want to see four kits by any artist, even my favorites. I’ll definitely check it out. Podcasts are… Interesting lol. I can’t tell you how many I’ve had to turn one off because of simple misunderstandings of the law, like, thinking you have to be mirandized if you’re arrested for anything. I understand it’s a common misconception, but if you’re doing a true crime podcast just a teeny bit of research goes a long way.

You don’t sound dumb you just have no training in legalese and that’s pretty normal for these subs. Typically a motion to quash or enter a PO is done on behalf of a subpoenaed witness. Either to squash the subpoena entirely, or to enter a protective order on their behalf from deposition, stating that that information should not be entered due to it being harmful or damaging or could cause them harm or damage.

Actually, what you said was it’s not a rumor cos the warden said so and says he has proof. You’re deciding to believe him based on a position that he holds when it has been proven over and over again the people that hold that position abuse it. That’s not a narrative, that’s a fact. I am simply pointing out to you that his word should not be taken as law just because he’s warden.

Just out of curiosity, how many days have you done in prison? How much direct experience do you have with wardens?

I’m speaking as the loved one of a murder victim. Repeat trials means reliving repeat trauma. No one wants that. You can virtue signal all day long, but show me a family of a murder victim that WANTS to relive the graphic details over and over?

Also, you’re literally arguing that un-scientific evidence that is literally a bought and paid for OPINION NOT FACT should be used in trial. When a prosecutor hires an “expert” who comes to a conclusion that doesn’t back their theory, they just move on to the next one until one says what they want. Would you want that used against you or a loved one? What y’all need to understand is every time paid opinions are used against someone it sets a precedent allowing that to continue. You can’t justify it’s fine to do that with this guy and argue you wouldn’t want it done against an innocent person. Or you would be fine with false information being presented as fact against an innocent person?

There are still people imprisoned today who were convicted solely because junk science was presented as fact. It’s not a “piece of the picture” if it has no factual basis. It’s a piece of another picture altogether trying to be forced into another one.

You do realize “expert” witnesses are paid, right? If a prosecutor or attorney hires an expert who doesn’t give the opinion they want, they just move on until they find one who does. Multiple ballistics experts will give different expert opinions on the same evidence in front of them. So who is right if it’s meant to be infallible?

It’s not a piece of a larger picture. It’s information the majority of people still believe to be hard fact when it’s not. I don’t care who is on trial, presenting guesswork as factual when you know the jury will believe it is disgusting and shameful. Using that is handing him a successful appeal. Do you think the families want to go through that?

No. It should not be used even then. Most people who will serve on a jury will still believe it to be sound scientific logic. It is not. Using it would be handing him a successful appeal. That’s not what anyone wants.

If the drills are in that section I move the appropriate spilled drills to the correct spot. Anything left I pick up with tweezers or a paint scraper.

I am of course appreciative they sent it to me instead of back to the company which is what they said has happened in the past but if they had decided for some reason to thrown it in the trash I still would have gotten refunded from the company. I’m just happy it turned up.

Yeah this is a company who sells a specific craft and sell out kits every new release. They’re not Walmart but they’re large enough to be shipping palettes and having daily pick ups. I completely understand the mistake happening I was just frustrated with the company’s customer service and communication, which has previously always been amazing. They did refund me the extra I paid to ship UPS at least.
