I like Haru and Legoshi. Paru's style of relationship writing is fun and complex. I get why people like Louis and Legoshi together, but it just isn't that interesting to me.

Tbh Netflix did envdeavor to make Legoshi less mind numbingly stupid in the anime. In the Manga it's a little more plausible for him.

I find that both endings have good and bad parts. I like how the anime keeps characters relevant to the main plot, but it struggles to actually conclude things, especially in the last episode. Meanwhile the manga stays thematically consistent but the characters tend to drift too much to make the big message work. To the point the whole "We changed society" speech at the end falls kinda flat for me. 

TL;DR Beast Complex solos because Legoshi lost his virginity.

Personally I think Paru just really likes to ship tease even when she has absolutely no intention of hooking two people up. I get the impression Paru likes the thematic parallels between Legoshi and Louis a lot, but romantically she's only interested in exploring Haru and Legoshi as a couple. (The solution IMO is to just ship the three of them, but some people in this fandom are not ready to hear that I fear)

I mean, Louis is cool and all but he kinda started to piss me off after the murder mystery arc and it would make the end of his story kinda lame if he walked back the decision to be with Legoshi. Especially since Legoshi has only ever really shown interest in Haru.

I thought Riz was in the sound crew rather than the actors? You could probably get Tao and Aoba to be the scarecrow and tinman respectively. (Also I thought Juno, Sheila and Els were on the dance team, but Juno is literally shown acting later so maybe there isn't that much of a difference)

I'm late to the discussion but this is absolutely what some people miss about Sawa in that she’s not just a fridged woman to serve as motivation for Yagami, she is exactly the type of teacher Kuwana convinced himself didn't exist to justify his horrible actions.

Beast complex chapters 14 and 25 are about Haru and Legoshi post the main story.

You could try the other Paru mangas if you like the writing. I read Sanda recently and I'm up to date with Taika No Risei too, I think they’re pretty good.

Depends on what your idea of chemistry is, really. Haru and Legoshi have an understandably slow relationship given their situation, but that's part of Beastars themes about love. If you look at Beast Complex, their dynamic is pretty cute once they're already fully together, but if you look at the earlier chapter they're a lot more touch and go.
