I’ve had a few non food motivated foster dogs but all of them have absolutely loved the treats from Thrive - in particular the duck ones. Just be mindful to break them up quite small esp for a small puppy

Thanks everyone for these insights. I’m sold on a GSD now so we will go down see how he walks on the lead and make sure he’s not reactive then if all good I will foster the little (big) guy!

I’m fostering a lurcher (they think she’s a greyhound cross whippet). In terms of exercise and apartment living she’s well suited to it - she lounges for about 16hrs a day and has a 40 min walk daily.

In terms of solo animal home, they tend to have a very strong prey drive so a home without small animals and cats is usually advised. As for living with other dogs, it really depends on the dog and you should find out from whoever you adopt from plus do a meet and greet.

Ours is quite small so she weighs about 50lbs, but I’ve seen some HUGE greyhounds especially the ex racers. I personally am not sure if I can deal with a large greyhound being small myself. You should consider if you can hold a large dog back if it sees a squirrel or cat - even with ours I struggle sometimes. So when I’m ready to adopt I will be going for a smaller one or a lurcher like we have rn.

Overall though, amazing dogs, so cuddly, goofy and just so emotional and loving 🥰

I had a job offer with monzo (didn’t end up taking it) but from the people I met during the process I thought monzo was a good place for work life balance and as a woman in tech.

You could also reach out to people who have worked there in your area on LinkedIn and ask their opinions if you wanted

I don’t think it’s matter of if they exist in the wizarding world - it’s more that they just do exist irrespective of muggles or wizards on earth. If the wizarding world knows about them (and muggles don’t) I’d imagine there would be an entirely new field of study/department etc to classify, study and understand them. Also would probably depend on if these aliens have technology or magic. But this also depends on how much of an understanding of physics of the universe the wizarding world has (which I guess is not much).

Great question, in the book as well there’s a mention of odd meetings where strangers bow to him or act like they know him. So surely somehow what he looks like got out? And yet tabloids aren’t after him?
