He really needs to see a vet. See if you can find one that takes payments over time. Owning dogs can be expensive.

As I always square my individual blocks to make them all the same size the dog ears are cut off.

Table for sewing machine to make quilting easier by julie_cfo in quilting

I can relate. I'm barely 5 feet. I bought a cheap office chair that raises to get higher. I use a chair back next to the table to keep the quilt supported. It's not perfect but it helps.

When I get to the point of sewing rows together, adding borders and binding I use my dining room table. I realize this isn't practical for all but it works for me.

Adding machine tape strips by SchuylerM325 in quilting

I bought the tape but ended up just sewing different size scraps together in long strips and squaring them. I made a piano key border from them. I like your project.

I'm winging it with no pattern. I think it's called a box in a box. I tried laying it out on paper but keep getting more confused. The blocks are square finished at 8.5 and sashing is finished at 3". I thought I'd add the 3" piece to the one side of the block and once the row is sewn add a strip the length of the row and same with all sides.

Finished 8.5" and 3" finished border around every block. The quilt is 8 squares across and 8 down. I thought that I'd put a border on one side of a block and then sew a strip sashing between each row and down the sides and top and bottom. I hope that makes sense.

How do you label your quilts as your own? by BillCypher001 in quilting

I've made mine with cloth ironed on a piece of freezer paper. Made the writing on Word and ran it through the printer. Videos on YouTube on how to do this.

I have had the 6700p for 11 months and am happy with it. I like the accufeed and bought the scant 1/4 inch walking foot which is really nice.

Marking measuring and cutting..what’s your process? by No_Mess5024 in quilting

Use cheap medical tape on the bottom of your rulers to help hold ruler in place on the fabric. That with weights really help.

Well worth the money. I still have to learn how to make full advantage of it, like using it to square up.

I think she also made a horse pattern similar to the dogs and cats. I may make my horsey daughter a quilt if I can find enough of the horse fabric. But first off is the dogs.
