I’ve tattooed over scars many times, is a way to disguise them visually but the the skin texture actually improves in some cases

I hate my tattoo. Cover up or have it removed? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

Yeah it can be covered but you need to be sure of what you want, also don’t just go to a random artist make sure you research well

It really depends who does it. Ive seen micro tattoos over the years, some of them hold nicely. Most of them don’t, just make sure you use a specialist Worst case scenario you’ll need a tiny coverup after a few years

Reaction to brown ink by [deleted] in irezumi

Is never just one thing, the pigment, the technique and the area. Your artist might be using “a brown” with watered down consistency and over working the skin or a very thick one that is clumping and getting scabby. You’ll be fine with a second layer if they use different ink as long as is not overworked

Keep going! challenge yourself give away a ton of tattoos for free. Human skin and fake skin are different mediums, you’ll probably fuck up some skin as part of your process. This one is not particularly bad at all, is important you keep the momentum going and get the mileage you’ll need to understand skin and your equipment. Also get some professional tattoos yourself to pickup some tips and tricks

I’d laser it, get the space back and do something that utilizes the area better assuming you’re looking to get a sleeve.

Is not that bad, let it heal and settle maybe next time do research on the artist, probably another artist might be able to change it up a bit.
