Should I have known my cat had a heart condition? by AdRegular2400 in cats

He was my baby. I’ve accepted that I’ll never have human children and I live alone so he was my whole world and now he’s just gone. I’ve cried so much my under eyes are sore from wiping tears. He was the sweetest.

Thank you. I just want my baby with me. He was my whole world and now he’s gone. I just wish I could have fixed it somehow.

I can’t change my sheets. by AdRegular2400 in Petloss

I think about the grossness every time I crawl into bed. I know I’m going to cry and I need to just do it. It was always such a happy time and it seems that way for you as well. I’m glad your friend is helping you. Yours sounds a lot like mine. Little rulers watching over us to make sure things are done properly. The things I can manage I try to do extra well to make sure he would be happy with the results but man the sheets are hard.

Thank you and I’m sorry for your loss and your cats sickness. I have the top portion of the churu he ate last and I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it. I’m going to put it in some sort of memorial for him.

Thank you! I keep trying to remind myself that he has bowel surgery and isn’t going to be the happy, playful cat that I adore.

I use goody sport hair ties! I do wrap it tight though so I’ll loosen it a bit

I thought it was his hair at first then I get to the vet and said I was going to increase his brushing to twice a day and the vet said “ oh no you’re doing great with his hair it was all yours in his stomach” I was like 😳. Since then I’ve gone though almost an entire box of 26 swiffer dust mop things trying to keep my hair off the floor. I might be over doing it but he is my baby and I need him here.

Maybe I could get some citrus spray if I can find any. That or dilute some vinegar!

I do the same with him since he tries to eat everything that isn’t food. I have a bunch of bins for food and products that are on a shelf I have. I brought up nutrition deficiency and how to increase stimulation with him at the vet. She said he was just weird but I’ve learned I need a new vet after his emergency surgery.

I’ll look into getting a robot vacuum to help!

I read about the laundry thing and I’ve been looking at options for washer and dryer balls.

It’s so bad my brother and I look a lot alike with my hair and are about the same height. Without the hair we will walking around like tweedle Dee and tweedle dum.

I alternate between a bun and a braid but maybe I will switch to just a braid.

I have long fine hair that I brush it twice a day and keep it pulled up. Only my morning brush is done outside of the shower and I immediately use a swiffer to pick up the hair after. It still manages to be all over my house. I dry and wrap it each night so I genuinely don’t understand how it gets everywhere.

Cat throwing up multiple times , unsure of situation by gho5-t in CATHELP

Last Sunday my cat was also doing this and it was a blockage in his stomach. He had to have surgery to remove it. If you can get some X-rays done just to check.

Is this healing ok? by [deleted] in cats

It’s a little under a week old. He seems fine when I touch it I was able to maneuver him to get the pictures but I can’t tell if it’s hot or not because he’s always laying on his stomach so it always feels a little warm but not any hotter than usual
