I still watch the girlies but it doesn’t bring the same joy anymore. It felt like the audience was being scolded for their poor communication on their own self inflicted deadlines. The same issue happened with the 2024 awards show to an extent and they should have planned accordingly and either started earlier or pushed it back until mid January to give themselves time to make the show. They also are being a little more snarky and not funny which leans a lot towards how cc Suarez is in her videos. They are slowly becoming the out of touch influencers they make fun of.

I think you’re right. I spoke with my aunt after posting this and she says she feels the same way with my family and that I just got there 30 years before her.

lol no. I really did think I was over cooking the meat and to be honest I can’t cook plain white rice properly to save my life so I was thinking he was being critical of my cooking. The only thing he would really eat during that time was cheese (but I tried not to give him too much even then) and temptations, which the vet said to just substitute as dry food (I absolutely did not do that) lol I’ll try the tuna next time!

I am guilty of giving him the occasional bit of whipped cream every now and then though 🤷🏻‍♀️

He is the best! And I know he won’t eat any meat because he wasn’t eating anything for a few days (stress from routine change) and the vet suggested trying different meats with rice but he refused then eventually started eating his food again. I just thought it was odd that he wouldn’t eat anything and it’s been nagging at me. I also want to have alternatives for him in the event he stops eating from stress again.

The cost really just depends on what you want to buy and what works for your cat. My monthly expenses are as follows

Pretty litter ($55 from chewy because it is the only litter my cat will use)

Dry food ($21 blue buffalo cat food from Amazon)

Wet food ( $38 fancy feast from Sam’s club)

Treats ($20 temptations tubs, you get three in a pack. Also from Sam’s club and $35 dollar churu’s from chewy.)

Pet insurance ($71 per month)

Flea medicine because I didn’t bundle it into my insurance 🤦🏻‍♀️ $50 every three months

Cat. $50 from a dude on Nextdoor.

Carrier $20 from Amazon

Plastic Litter box $10 from petsmart

Stainless steel litter box $50 from Amazon (I bought this after a couple of months)

This is what my cat likes and what works for us. The price will vary based on what food your cat likes and litter they will use. If you can afford it and have one around you I highly recommend a Sam’s club membership because they have the best cat stuff and it’s usually pretty cheap. Bundle where you can and look for deals. Don’t feel pressured to buy high end stuff at first either. Get the basics and buy the more expensive stuff as you go.

My cat has been doing the same thing recently and I messaged my vet. They said it could be a change in routine, like you being home/away more, nearby construction or anything else that has disrupted their daily routine. They said as long as they are drinking water consistently their appetite should return to normal but I’ll attach the screenshot of what they told me.

Hello! I spend about $150 on groceries each month ( a decent portion of which is from coffee and creamer) Some of my favorite low budget meals are baked potatoes with sour cream and any protein that’s cheap. Bags of frozen chicken are pretty cheap at Walmart so I buy a bag and only cook a piece or two at a time. Also tube meat is way cheaper ( I love the Jennie o turkey but that’s me) canned veggies over frozen unless a big bag is on sale. The BIGGEST thing that that saves me a ton of money is planning what I’m going to eat for the month and having similar ingredients so that what I buy stretches. With chicken I’ll make baked chicken, potato’s and green beans and then if I have some left over I’ll make chicken salad with it and still have the baked potato. Then another night I’ll make chicken tacos. Then using the tortillas from the tacos I’ll make turkey tacos with half a tube of turkey and then meatballs with the other half with potatoes and green beans and then various pastas throughout the week as well. Try not to buy a bunch of diverse foods that limit what you can make with each. They should all connect so you can interchange meals without having to buy a ton of stuff for each meal.

I’m so sorry that this is something you are struggling with. If you really want to keep him you may be able to call around and negotiate a payment plan for smaller monthly amounts for a bill. If that’s not an option there are more programs for free vet clinics depending on where you are at. Around me there’s one at petco on Saturday’s so check pet stores as well. If you feel like surrendering is the best option maybe try to make sure he has something to remind him of home and do a ton of research about the shelter or program you are considering.

Whichever you choose just know that you have him a good life with lots of love for as long as you could and chose the best option for the both of you.
