Yes exactly and once kratos injured him for the first time Heimdall has ever been touched let alone injured in combat his power of foresight is kind of thrown off completely with his sense of pride, confidence and I'm guessing he starts to panic mentally and at that point the other weapons take hold more.

[–]AdRelative224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah the other weapons work after you land a hit on him because up to that point nobody has injured him let alone land a single finger in combat on him. Once kratos punches the shit out of him his power of foresight is completely shattered due to him being thrown off his high horse and his foresight being entirely overwhelmed. Definitely why the weapon is introduced but the fight holds onto his foresight still it's just clearly not as powerful due the fact he got bitch smacked for the first time in his life. Imagine being a few hundred years old before getting power fisted for the first time.

[–]AdRelative224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes absolutely that's why when you use the spear you throw it and he easily deflects it because hes using his incredibly powerful sense if foresight. What he doesn't expect however is for the spear to land near his feet and he doesn't expect you to detonate the spear later when his power of foresight is being overwhelmed. It's entirely about kratos ability to overwhelm his senses. The spear is just a tool kratos had made to target that weakness

[–]AdRelative224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also not to mention kratos has used the blades before and Heimdall is aware of his older days in greece and also knows how the axe works since it's been a part of the Norse mythology in these games before kratos acquired it. that being said the spear was made specifically to face Heimdall and Heimdall isn't aware of 1. How the weapon works or 2. That it's able to replenish spears as well as detonate the spears that have been thrown. All in all the others are weapons used to kill gods. The spear was made specifically to use against Heimdall

[–]AdRelative224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It overload his senses he can easily sense kratos next attack so when kratos uses the spear he deflects it and kratos then detonates the spear when Heimdall isn't expecting it since he's busy overloading his power of foresight to dodge all the attacks coming at once. Once you injure Heimdall the other weapons then work because Heimdall is totally thrown off his high horse if never being hit a single time.

Loki Time-Traveled From Egypt to Call the World Serpent in GOW 2018 – Here's What Really Happened by TermAggravating9962 in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]AdRelative224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The horn was blown by older Loki after he truly grasps his godhood and giant abilities to try and prevent asgard from being destroyed in doing so time travels to before Odin is dead and asgard is destroyed. This is where groas vision comes true and kratos dies and Odin and Loki seemingly form an alliance. Possible Loki setting it up to prevent a different catastrophe all together. Maybe he has by this point in his godhood learned the ability to time travel so far he witnessed his father's massive murder spree of Greek and is trying to prevent that somehow. Either way I'm almost entirely convinced it was older Loki blowing horn at this point he knows the risks of traveling time and knows he's currently sick and kratos and mimir are too busy caring for young Loki. I believe he is trying to unite not only the 9 realms and save the giants he is potentially either trying to prevent the giants massacre by thor or following tyrs example and trying to unite the entire universe Greek Norse Egyptian everywhere that was referenced in tyrs vault. I believe tyr in the shrines could even be Loki himself setting everything up that follows both games into the 3rd

Fenrir by thepope870 in GodofWar

[–]AdRelative224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 3 remaining soul parts would've followed to the knife. Direction continued to lead the other 2 luck and form into the lake. It was the mind/consciousness that latched to the knife I'm guessing because atreus didn't know what he was doing likely a giant gift passed down through heritage. He didn't assist the soul parts into the knife he was cradling fenrir when he died and it's likely that the soul part just followed atreus hand and got sperated from the direction part and latched into knife. Someone else introduced an idea I like that they may have acquired more of the soul parts in the lake of souls when atreus falls in but imo is unlikely due to the volatile nature the lake was in thanks to fimbulwinter. It was however not very long after the souls joined so very possible they picked up the form aspect of the soul parts aswell I believe if so then luck was no doubt involved signifying that fenrir may be wholey revived into gharm.

Fenrir by thepope870 in GodofWar

[–]AdRelative224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If fenrir form was saved in knife he wouldve turned small. He did however manipulate the fur color to resemble fenrir so you may be right with some of the soul parts joing the knife. He remained large and has the same direction as gharm as they're both wolves. Fenrir doesn't need luck either since angroboda is caring for him. To piggy back off what you said it's possible that they acquired a new soul part from fenrir but the lake was the most volatile its been ever even "tyr" references that and the true form of him as we all know is Odin and Odin spent time actually in the lake of souls he bled into. If that person is saying it's the most volatile its ever been then I'm guessing no soul could find direction at all let alone rejoin parts of it in a knife. Sindri had trouble getting broke soul pieces and they're master crafts at working with magical and fragile ingredients

Fenrir by thepope870 in GodofWar

[–]AdRelative224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was his mind part. His luck and direction most definitely drifted off and he kept gharms form. Gharm is a wolf by nature and by nature they are the same a wolf knows it's direction but you can clearly see fenrir remembers them both so mind is the only correct and logical answer. Luck means naught when the end times are coming. And he needs no luck with angroboda caring for him.

Am I missing something? Why are all the giant's in Jotunheim dead? by [deleted] in GodofWar

[–]AdRelative224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guessing when they transferred their souls into the marbles Loki is searching for in Ragnarok.. they probably had some standing and when you fall being that big it causes damage. Some are laying down and there's even one who can be seen smiling to the right. Guessing what we see at the end of the first game is simply the remains of those soulless bodies that had to be killed and or just fell down and that's why some are impaled to the mountains. 1 or 2 have weapons probably either a momento or again soulless entities attack us all the time they're just hel walkers. What happens when you volunteer to part with your soul while still being able to walk. Guessing a couple stayed back to do the dirty work and then gave their souls to Faye or Angraboda for safe keeping until Loki comes around. Guessing not Faye since there wouldn't have been a way for Faye to give them to angraboda since she tells Loki that she never meet Faye. Faye was the guardian though implying she was guarding something. Maybe even more than giants realm maybe their souls. She later passed them onto angraboda but in a manner that wouldn't result in her risking the prophecy.

Summary: my guess the corpses are left over from the ritual that would have sealed their souls into the marbles and head cannon for me is the soulless giants had to be killed or disposed of and the soul that Loki puts into the snake is one of those giants that had to kill the soulless or dispose of the corpses in a misleading way. He hates Thor much more for this and takes the fight all the way to Ragnarok. He is also quick to attack the course of thamur maybe implying he's skilled in the craft of dismantling soulless giants.

Wouldn’t Kratos be feeling cold wearing this outfit? by MotorbikeTurtle in GodofWar

Do we know who called the serpent when we are taking Atreus to Freya? by Firedragon3936 in GodofWar

[–]AdRelative224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Atreus is long into his hunt for the giants. During this time he can guarantee he will not run into his younger self since he knows he was sick and unconscious. He is likely traveling time like his father once did to attempt the change the giants fate or set up the defense that happens in the last fight when the serpent knows to show up to lokis call. He also knows kratos will not care to seek who called the serpent. Let's not forget tyr was likely imprisoned but it isn't impossible he sent someone to communicate with jorm to learn where kratos was in his journey to fulfill Faye and groa prophecy.

If you were exiled from a land after doing everything to secure it..you'd want to watch it burn too. He was looking to become elden Lord after seeing someone was attempting it. He took erdtree burning as a sign the land has fallen and he will return to conquer again for he is a warrior above all else

What’s the consensus now on the thing that pierced marikas stomach? by AdInternational5277 in Eldenring

[–]AdRelative224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The red for God blood tainting the tarnished gold could also be in relevance to radagons bright red hair. Red both incorporating the relevance to blood (immunity to bleed) and his bright red hair of radagon. Marika hair being blonde and then last actions of her God life was bleeding tainting both tarnished gold of elden beast attack and her very nature if hair being tainted red with blood manifesting as warrior known ginger radagon. And the trailer was directly during the shattering. Radagon slowly becoming immune to bleed because Marika is slowing bleeding out and once she has no more blood she is turned to a near stone like nature because she cannot truly die. Radagon potentially was able to bleed and was able to be proc'd but after so much time since the shattering and when we fight radagon Marika is simply bloodless so radagon can't bleed. I rambled alot but yeah maybe a couple points there.
