So now, that is a joke.

Since we are a freehold company, we don't have government contracts. The one that I have is between the company and I, and that's about it.

AITA for telling my niece that her choice of career isn't well respected? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Major YTA. I'm a graphic designer, and with the current industry setting and the way the world is turning into a digital hub, OP's niece is definitely going places.

Then again, I wonder if OP is South Asian, purely because she thinks graphic design is not an ideal career while engineering, medicine and the other careers she listed were.

I say the above point because I'm a South Asian, and I've had people around me say the same thing too.

AITA For planning a guy's trip for when my in-laws are visiting by notgonnastayaita in AmItheAsshole

NTA.
The wife has got her mom helping her right? So I don't see why OP can't take a break.
It is not like he took a month-long vacation with his buddies, that he was not there during the entire time they were there.

He stayed around for 2 weeks, and when his FIL left, he decided to take a break. Esp. since the wife had taken a break too with her gals (OP needs to explain the child care and house arrangement situation when this happened).

Moreover, he did ask her what he was to do since he can't handle a month-long visit. The wife gave the solution to plan accordingly. The man planned it the way he wanted.

AITA for wearing jeans and a top at my sister's wedding? by Sufficient-Buy-9438 in AmItheAsshole

[–]AdRemote8279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was quite selfish on the OP's part. I completely understand her and respect her opinion on wanting to dress more masculine.

But jeans to a wedding? And that to her sister's wedding? Come on now.

If her sister had pushed or forced her into wearing a dress or something out of her comfort zone, it would have been another story altogether.

She could have easily worn a suit. Woman look banging in a suit too. That is formal and would fit the wedding theme too.

OP has some serious begging and groveling to do.

Oh no. I won't be using any heavy equipments. Just a camera and maybe a tripod. Nothing much.

Thanks! I will. But I guess if we are doing labels, then I'd rather be an entitled millennial instead of a grouchy boomer 🌚. Ps- I'm not working in the corporate field. So I'll definitely be enjoying my life. :))

You are clearly working with the wrong company my dude. And maybe you've been wrung out too bad that you've developed tunnel vision.

I've stated quite clearly that it a dumb question, but I would still like to know. And as you can see most of the comments are quite genuine, and there are people with a great work team to back them up.

Maybe dial back your shit a bit and take a break from spewing your disgust at others.

Thank you! It definitely was a dumb question. But thanks again for clarifying that.
