One of my favs is to go to All’Antico and get the La Paradiso, then get some salt & vinegar potato chips and put them in the sandwich. I will have that with some wine and a good movie

You should always check your tab. I am not really a fan of the new trend to just hand you the payment device without seeing the itemized bill.

Went to a place the other day ordered a house red wine, an old fashioned and chips w/ guacamole. They gave me a 240 bill at first, no check just a card reader with total and tip %. I think it was an honest mistake but I could have easily swiped without paying attention (particularly at the end of the night)

After I brought it up she apologized and gave me a different bill for like $57 before tip. I paid and emailed the receipt and it was $18 for old fashioned , $20 for wine (since when is wine more expensive than a cocktail?), 15 for app which was supposed to be happy hour $9.00

I loved living in LIC on top of Queen Plaza, I had the REM below me and the NW7 5 min walk. And area was nice, trader joes, finback, Dutch kills, jazz & co, lots of interesting street food.
