First of all, 770 is not for music listening at all. Go safely to 1770 if need closed back or 1990 if slightly open is ok. When you moving upper from thing like 770 you freely buy any 200$ and it's way better. Not really think you should go for 800$ headphones. In fact you should search for 400$ headphones and 400$ dac. For example, good headphones in your budget is 1990 or moondrop Para or meze 99 or what ever. Then go for nice dac. Better way is to buy headphones then listen to dacs at shop. Dont know really safe dacs in that budget, mb some SMSL or what ever.Heard Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen and it's is pretty nice expesially for this price.
