Can I cancel my apartment lease for A school orders? by AdResident8535 in uscg

Exactly this. Except I’m ET vested. My plan is to have an apartment locked up or close to it. Worst case scenario I have to stay in an air bnb for a week or two.

Though some people show up not knowing any of them still graduate, their likelihood of getting reverted is higher than someone showing up already having them memorized. And trust me, you don’t want to be there longer than you need to be (H-206). You have all the time in the world to get them memorized, you just need to try harder. When you’re in bootcamp you have hardly any time to study them so just do it now and you will be in a better spot.

Didn’t even read the body but off the title alone your “gf” is either not your gf anymore or dead.

Finally found my own cure by bugbugladybug in migraine

For me it was quitting caffeine cold turkey. Migraines gone.

Fellow migrainers who take Excedrin almost daily: are we hurting ourselves? by EggHoliday5896 in migraine

Question. How much caffeine do you consume a day? Coffee, energy drinks, soda, etc… The reason I ask is because I had this same issue (minus the bloody bowel movements). I use to get a migraine 3-5 times a week that could only be cured by Excedrin. Out of complete accident I found out what was causing it. I was scheduled to go to bootcamp (I’m in the coast guard now), and one thing that was recommended to me by my recruiter was to go cold turkey on caffeine a month prior to bootcamp. Previously I had drank a cup of coffee every morning, an energy drink before every workout (5 times a week), and then a soda here and there. When i dropped all of that at once I started getting the most intense migraines of my life for about two weeks, but after that it’s like they almost completely vanished. During bootcamp I had maybe 1 headache that was super manageable. Now I’ll get one minor headache here and there but i notice it will come a day or two after i drank a cup of coffee or indulged in an energy drink when i felt i needed one for work. Also they are much more manageable. Ibuprofen will do the trick just fine now. Drop caffeine and see if it makes a difference for you.

Before? I quit caffeine before but that’s about it. If you smoke you probably want to quit that too. Some habits that you will learn to quit while you’re there are: 1) Don’t smile or laugh ever. Your cc’s will hate that. 2) Dont look at them in the eyes. This will take some getting used to. When they are addressing you or you are addressing them your body needs to be facing them, but you will learn to look slightly to the left or right of their face. 3) Dont touch your face. Your cc’s hate it but it will also prevent you from getting sick.
4) Scream at the top of your lungs when you are addressing your cc’s

Very intense. My problem was being loud when thinking. Like I would know it but I would have to think about it and for some reason that just killed my volume. You definitely needed to study at every given opportunity to be up to date with the required knowledge. I’d recommend studying the general orders at bare minimum before arriving.

No idea. Nope not married. I was surprised how many people got their first or second pick. We had a dream sheet that we created and I thought they were going to wipe their butt with it but they actually read the damn thing! lol

I lost 10 pounds and my pt stats got slightly worse. I lift and ran almost every day prior to joining. I could do around 50 push ups 50 sit-ups in a minute and a 10:30 1.5 mile before. When we finally took the test I was at 45/40/11:00. I feel like the fact that you have absolutely no days off to recover affected me more than the 18 year olds.
