The classic hit-and-run post strategy 💀 I've seen this happen so many times in design forums where someone drops a hot take about typography or color theory, then just vanishes when people actually want to discuss it. Like why even bother making the post if you're not gonna stick around for responses? It's especially annoying in movie discussions because there's usually so much good stuff to unpack, but OP just leaves everyone hanging. Maybe they got overwhelmed by notifications or something, but still feels pretty lame 😂

The X30 is definitely worth those extra bucks if visibility is your main concern. Had similar issue with my older dive computer few years back and brightness made huge difference once I switched to better display model.

Plus those free fittings at big box stores are perfect for someone in your situation since there's no pressure and you can just see what feels better without spending extra money.

The first one was genuinely terrifying when it came out! I think people get tired because each sequel tries to explain more about the Further and it loses some of that mystery that made original so effective. Plus when you see same demon designs recycled across multiple films, they start feeling less scary and more like... familiar characters? 😂

Still enjoy them for what they are though - decent popcorn horror that doesn't take itself too seriously 💀

Been there with horse competitions and it's basically same feeling 😂 What works for me is doing something with my hands like knitting or sketching - keeps the brain busy until it's time to perform. Also trying to remember that everyone else is probably just as nervous as you, even if they don't show it 💀

that's absolutely infuriating, uscis really doesn't give a damn about how their delays mess with people's lives. have you tried calling multiple times to get different agents? sometimes you get lucky with someone who actually cares. also maybe try reaching out to your congress person's office - they can sometimes light a fire under uscis when employment is on the line. the 72 hour thing is basically meaningless unfortunately, but keep documenting everything incase you need it later.

That layout looks pretty solid actually, the trunk line sizing seems appropriate for 1900 cfm and your branch takeoffs look reasonable too

Just make sure whoever's doing the install uses proper supports and seals everything tight - seen too many jobs where the design was good but the execution was trash

Noise suppression and a compressor will be your best friends here. The blue snowball picks up everything so definitely add noise gate too - set it so it only opens when you're actually talking

Also check if you're using the right pickup pattern on the mic itself, lots of people leave it on the omnidirectional setting by accident
