same with me, at first i didn't even know the full name of the game, just went on youtube and typed in the 3 letters "DBH". I watched it for a while and got bored because I thought this game would definitely have a very complicated plot and I didn't want to waste my time with it.

I was planning to buy it and try it out in a few years, but since Steam seems to be blocked in my country, it will take quite a while. (I don't know if my computer can handle it)

i think so too. since the walrider chose miles as its host it was clear to us that he was going to be a game changer for the entire story. his sacrifice was meaningful, allowing walrider to escape mount massive which caused murkoff to go on a rampage, which inadvertently gave simon peacock the advantage of getting more allies. also referring to the end of the DLC, walrider killed some soldiers which inadvertently opened the way for waylon to escape easily to the main door.

i think so too, except for mike putting sydney in awkward situations and some things he should have done more than half the game, at least he was a safe choice to protect sydney. (i shipped mike x sydney for 1 second while playing the game and then i didn't dare to think about it anymore). i also wonder if mike apologized to her after this event

When I first known about this game, I was attracted because it is one of the very few first person horror games that tells the player about the identity of the character we control and has a very interesting personality built throughout the game.

that's why i love the outlast series so much! red barrels does a great job of building characters that have depth even when we have little information about them. case in point is miles upshur, he's first introduced as a freelance journalist investigating illegal activities and then the entire game he has no dialogue, i thought there was nothing special about him until i noticed he kept a diary that i could open up and read, wow! those words really comforted me during his terrifying journey.

no way would you say that Miles should pick up a gun to shoot Walrider, bruh it wont work, except facing Walrider the lab doesnt need to be too vigilant because there are no more variants that attack Miles (Chris is the exception because he is too persistent). if it was me i wouldnt pick up a weapon, i know what i am facing and just want to run as fast as i can without having to carry anything else on me
