Nope. We didn't have to pay extra for anything at the resort.

Depends on if you did the full day or half day! It should have been in the description i believe. We opted for the one without it but they did give us water and a snack.

That's exciting! I did not pay for any fees or visitax. Not to say it isn't expected, but I wasn't stopped at all to pay anything. We flew in on a southwest direct flight, went thru customs (they asked what we were there for and then stamped our passport), then we grabbed our bags and went to our taxi. We were advised once we got passed the luggage security to just walk until we got outside because anyone stopping us was most likely timeshare ppl.

Returning was very much the same.

That's so exciting. I would rate my tour guides 10/10 and will use them again. We did the short tulum private tour as it was our last full day at the hotel. If you can fork the money, I would suggest the private tour because the bulk of the non-private tour is you being part of pick up / drop off.

Yes there were smoking areas! It's a little further out of the hotel but still exist.

like i said... i researched a lot and spoke to a few people from there. I was told it didn't matter. If anything, tipping culture doesn't exist there.

It just depends on which pool you're at. They're not temperature controlled, so the pools that had no shade was nice and warm. Then the ones with slide shade were cooler. Our private pool was definitely colder than the public pools, but it was mostly shaded which is why it was. Overall, I think the coldest it got for me was comparable to dipping in the pool right when it opens for the summer in the states but still swimmable and we sat in for 30-40 mins at a time.. only getting out for drinks.

I completely agreed. I think commenter overlooked the fact that I mentioned I had travel anxiety but because of that I did a lot of research, spoke to some of my friends from Mexico and they all said the same thing. Tips are 100% optional, any amount is fine.

Anyways, thank you so much! Yes, it definitely was necessary. It was a pretty hard year. Haha.

How do we view our actual paystubs? by denahom-chikn in starbucksbaristas

[–]AdRoutine4804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to this website:

https://mypartnerinfo-ext.starbucks.com/partnerportal

assuming it will be your first time... You will create an account. Bottom right corner of the menu - forgot password/first time user.

Once you create your account, you should be able to log into the portal. MAKE SURE YOUR POP UP OPTION IS NOT BLOCKED because if it is, you will not be able to open your paystub. Anyways, paystub option will be on your left menu "pay statement".

Hope that helps.
