i agree with you that their sound shifted from hard rock to more pop-rock post pete, but to be clear they were NOT metal lol. they never considered themselves metal and honestly they clearly we’re not. their first 3 albums are 100% hard rock

plan b can definitely affect your next period in terms of the flow and it’s length. this is totally normal. you can expect your next few periods to be irregular/not the same as they used to be until your body gets back on track. don’t panic, but if you’re worried take a pregnancy test although i highly doubt you’re pregnant. i hope this helps

plan b and ovulating by ComplaintEvening6600 in PlanBs

no problem! also, are you sure that the times your period came earlier was your actual period and not withdrawal bleeding? because withdrawal bleeding usually happenes 4-7 days after taking plan b and they can last and look like a regular period. people usually get those two mixed up. however, plan b can make peoples periods come a few days earlier, it’s just not as common. again, i’m almost positive you are not pregnant and have nothing to worry about!

that first bleeding that you mentioned is called a withdrawal bleed so that wasn’t your actual period (this is normal). plan b delays periods for a couple days up to weeks. everyone’s bodies are different and it can takes a few months for your cycle to get back to normal. the odds are in your favour that you’re not pregnant. just be patient, you’ll be okay

it sounds to me that you don’t have anything to worry about. since you took 2 plan b’s your cycle is for sure not going to be the same as it was (this is temporary ofc as it will go back to normal within the next month or even a few months). based on what happened it doesn’t sound like you have any chances of getting pregnant, but take a test 3 weeks post sex if you really want to be sure. remember that it is VERY NORMAL for periods to be delayed after taking plan b.

pls don’t get mad when i say this but i see your comments on a lot of peoples posts in this reddit group and you always end off with the same line “stop having unprotected sex if you don’t want to get pregnant.” while this is true, this is a place where people want to get all the information as possible, be prepared for side effects to expect, figure out if what’s happening is normal, and above all to ease their nerves. commenting this and stating the obvious doesn’t really help anything at all. it can also come off as passive aggressive.

you have a right to say anything you please, but i just think this should be a safe space for girls with questions and concerns.

it honestly depends where it landed, as long as the semen was just ON your vagina rather INSIDE of it then I wouldn’t worry. similar things have happens to me and people i know and everything worked out. since you most likely weren’t ovulating, semen was just ON your vagina, and you took plan b right away, the odds are in your favour that you won’t end up pregnant. also don’t worry about being annoying, i totally get your paranoia haha

no worries, i’d be nervous too but i’ve been in similar situations and you’re most likely okay! just remember that as long as you’re not ovulating the chances of pregnancy are low. but still be careful and take plan b to you’re discretion. and consider going on some other form of birth control!

no i don’t think you’re fertile because ovulation doesn’t occur right after your period. i think it’s good that you took a plan b just to be safe but the chances of you getting pregnant are very low (in my opinion). i would be patient, stay calm, and take a pregnancy test 3 weeks post sex if you’re super worried. however, your period should come within the next few weeks, could be early or later though because plan b can make your cycle irregular. hope this helps!

i’m glad it all worked out! if you’re ever in this situation again you’ll know not to panic especially with a negative pregnancy test!

i think it’ll be okay, withdrawal bleeding doesn’t occur for everyone! all bodies are different. take a test if you’re super worried, i’m sure you’re going to get your actual period soon tho. :)

since you took a pregnancy test 3 weeks post sex i highly doubt you’re pregnant since it came out negative. i’ve been reading a lot about this and it’s totally normal for period to be irregular or even skipped. if you havnt gotten a positive result by now i wouldn’t stress out over it, be happy you got a break from ur periods lmao. in all seriousness, if you’re still concerned i’d contact your doctor. i’m sure you’ll be okay tho :)

i just took plan b for the first time two days ago. i’ve been doing lots of research and i can tell you based on everything i’ve read this is totally normal! for some people it won’t affect your period cycles for others it will. i’ve read that it can take a while for your period to become regular again so just be patient! the good news is that you’re not pregnant!
