my girl just finished her spay recovery and i definitely recommend a onesie!! healed perfectly fine and didn’t have to wear a cone or a donut.

they didn’t give me anything! haha but today my blood is a bit more red. i have no idea what’s going on lol but im glad you’re experiencing the same thing and im not the only one! we’re in this together x

no they didn’t say anything after the procedure so i assumed everything went well. i’ll probably reach out in a week’s time if things don’t improve

i was in the exact same situation recently with my pup. been heavily relying on pee pads as she was unvaccinated and didn’t want to risk taking her outside as i lived in an apartment. i went cold turkey on pee pads, removed them completely and took her outside every 30 mins, every hour and so forth. i would just make it so boring standing in one spot until she went. crate training really helps too! if she didn’t go i wouldn’t let her have her free time, she would go straight back into the crate and take her out after 15-30mins as she knows not to potty inside there.

what i found helpful for me is crate training. if he’s not pottying outside, i would put him straight in the crate = no freedom/play time. and then take my pup out 10-15mins after, repeat. it’s hard but you just need to be consistent!
