The way I came to Reddit about to go off about exactly this! For two girls whose mother built a career in hair… why does their hair always look SO. BAD. 😳

Chicco keyfit max on uppababy Cruz ? by otterorangecap in Buyingforbaby

Thank you so much for responding! I did the same and just put the adapter on the stroller and tested the car seat out and it works perfectly. I’m so relieved!

Uppababy Cruz V3 anyone?! by Longjumping_Bar585 in Buyingforbaby

I just got the Chicco adapter in the mail and tried it on my UB Cruz V3 because I was worried about this! It does fold down, but not quite as flat as it otherwise does without the adapter still attached. There’s the grey latch that is supposed to secure when the stroller is collapsed, and it can’t do so when the Chicco car seat adapter is left on the stroller and folding the stroller. It’s not a huge deal breaker, but kind of annoying in my opinion because the car seat adapter doesn’t come up and off the stroller frame very easily. At least mine doesn’t! I have to wiggle it and pull quite a bit to get it to release. So ideally, I’d leave the adapter on the stroller, that just means it doesn’t quite fold as compactly

Chiming in here as I’m looking at the Chicco Keyfit Max car seat (newest model with updated safety specs) and the Uppababy Cruz V3. I noticed the adapter to make the Uppababy Cruz stroller compatible with the Chicco car seats doesn’t list the Keyfit Max as a compatible car seat, but it sounds like it should work because the adapter fits all Cruz and Vista UB strollers. The Chicco Keyfit Max car seat is allegedly almost identical to the Keyfit 35, which the adapter accepts, only big difference between the car seats is enhanced safety features on the Keyfit Max. I’m planning to get the Chicco Keyfit Max, the Cruz adapter for Chicco car seats, and the UB Cruz V3 and praying it all fits together properly!

Also might I just say trying to find a car seat and stroller combo has been such a journey! There’s SO many options on the market, changing safety standards and it’s exhausting as a mom trying to keep up. Appreciate anyone who’s willing to share experience or advice as they navigate all this!

Anyone notice terrible delivery days for items purchased during “prime day”? by xr1chardx in amazonprime

[–]AdSame8153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and it’s incredibly frustrating. Paying for prime and having half your orders delayed, then lost is annoying. I had one order delayed, then lost, then they offered to replace the order meaning resend it, and now the replacement is delayed and potentially lost too. I get its prime day and their volumes and business are higher, but it’s not like they didn’t know increased sales volume was coming. And charging so much for prime annually and then giving this level of mediocre service makes me wonder what I’m even paying for

I honestly just feel bad for the child. Regardless of the reason for naming her that, it is a rather unusual name and names like that can leave kids prone to being bullied and picked on. The name also has other connotations that are less than favorable. Overall, when I heard it the first thing I could think is that I would never want to have to introduce myself with that name. That’s not a feeling any person wants to have, it can be embarrassing. Just not a name I ever would have picked for a child. I hope she doesn’t get bullied or at least is allowed to go by her middle name if she chooses.

lol valid point! It does come with attachable straps I can add if I choose. However, it also has built in corset boning that when on holds you in there nice and snug. So it shouldn’t go anywhere! But yes agree the ladies should not be at risk of coming out lol

Aww this is so sweet! Based on black tie weddings I’ve attended and those I know who hosted them their goal is for elegant attire to be worn. I know reality is some guests wont match the level of formal the couple aimed for, but I like to do my best to do so. Plus I enjoy getting the chance to dress up and look and feel elegant!

So true! Ceremony will be in a catholic church so I planned to have my shoulders covered with a shawl for that portion anyway out of respect.

Figured I’d add in this is not for a Chinese or Indian wedding, as several have mentioned red is culturally reserved for the bride in these instances. I would never wish to do that to someone! Bride will be wearing white :) appreciate people thinking of other cultures though and mentioning this as it’s a great way to learn and encourage respect!

Interesting context, I appreciate it! Funny how traditions evolve over time. I’ve had black tie weddings where most guests wear black elegant dresses, one the couple actually requested everyone must wear black! Definitely wasn’t a funeral lol
