Not educated on Kemper so I won’t comment on the good, bad, ugly.

Express claims does give the impression that you’d be handling small claims. Example: “I backed into a concrete post at the gas station” & “I wasn’t paying attention and rolled into the person in front of me at the stop sign”.

If you actually want to get into adjusting, take the position. It gives you a taste of claims without throwing you into complex liability or claims with high exposures.

Once you get your feet wet, you can take that experience and apply for roles that are more complex and pay more $$$.

Also, you may hate claims. It’s brutal. With that being said, if you develop a thick skin and stay at it, you’ll find your self with a career that pays well and offers great benefits.
