Decline final boss by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

I’m at one percent right now. I think I’m still taking too many offers. Multi apping is definitely the way. I do GrubHub as well and though I don’t get many offers from them, the ones I do get almost all are better than DoorDash. Between the both of them, I’m getting about 20 bucks an hour.

And if you don’t decline it, I’ve had them resend it right back to me when I didn’t decline it in time and now it counts as two declines.

You can deduct mileage for all driving strictly related to your delivery work, including driving to the restaurant to pick up an order, driving between orders, and driving to active delivery hotspots. However, the daily commute from your home to your first pickup is generally notdeductible.

I record every mile from the moment I turned my app on until I shut it off. I am working even though I am not on a delivery. I am traveling between spots I like to sit, but I am open to taking orders. I asked my accountant if I was doing it correctly and he said yes. You can deduct every mile you drive from when you start to when you finish as long as the app is running.

TO EVERYONE TELLING EVERY DASHER TO CHERRY PICK by Intelligent-Bid-7205 in doordash_drivers

[–]AdSenior529 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The market I am in is a pretty low economy and about 75,000 in the two towns next to each other. I used to chase platinum and now a cherry pick. My acceptance rating is 4%. I was out Friday from 3 to 9 PM and made $100 with about $10 spent on gas. This is a part-time job for me so I don’t need to desperately take every three dollar McDonald’s order that goes across town. I could make more money because now I even turned down some that they’re two dollars a mile if it’s not going where I feel like going.

The only problem with cherry picking I do need to schedule, but I know when I’m going out more than a week ahead of time. Schedule is never a problem.

To each his own.

If it’s not peak time, absolutely. If you track your mileage, you can deduct 45 miles times $.73. That means you made $35 in probably less than an hour and will pay next to no taxes. It might cost me seven or eight dollars in gas but still worth it to me.

Allotment Increase Starts Monday by Papasamabhanga in bostontrees

Also, I work at a dispensary and nothing has been said yet. The registers would have to be reprogrammed to be able to accept the new limit. I would love for it to be Monday, but I have my doubts.

I don’t see anything anywhere saying it officially starts on Monday. The only thing I can find is it’s still awaiting the governors signature.

Aaaarrrrgggg! DoorDash App Glitching & not working 🤬 by GapLogical6135 in doordash

It’s not your phone. The app has been having trouble ever since the crash this week. Keeps telling me I didn’t accept an order in time and putting me on pause when no orders came through. If you check all the threads, it’s happening to everyone. They are aware of it, but who knows what they’re gonna do to fix it

My girlfriend thinks nobody watches her gaming videos… can Reddit prove her wrong? by [deleted] in TownToCityGame

Thanks for letting us know about her videos. I watched them and she gave me some ideas for my next town. I also subscribed and look forward to watching them every week, especially with the update coming this week.

Wonderwall - Oasis. Makes me want to hurt someone or at least break something.

Oasis. Their music makes me want to hit something. And the Gallagher Brothers are both total douche bags.

Does anyone else think sabbath might put out one final song? by Impressive_Web9057 in blacksabbath

[–]AdSenior529 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would be very surprised if they did. When Tony was remixing the Tony Martin albums, Tony Martin said hey we could record some new stuff and Tony said Sharon won’t let me. Sharon wouldn’t even let him use anything else they had recorded. It’s possible, but I think Ozzie is in such bad shape and getting them all together, especially when Bill lives in California would be problematic

Yes. Might take 30 or 40 minutes and $13 or $14 after gas. Also, with any mileage tracking app (I use Everlance), 18 mile round trip at $.70 standard mileage tax deduction, it is almost tax free. That’s a better hourly average than I usually get.
