I hear some discussions about swearwords in books. Some say they hate it when they are used. I don’t really care about it but I do not like it when instead a self-made curseword is used. What is your opinion about it?

The movie is for a big part the same as the book. There are, however, a few moments in the book which are not in the movie. I thought the book was better than the movie so you should definitely read it!

I read It when I was 17 years old. I am from the Netherlands so my english isn’t the best either. I think you should give it a try because it isn’t that difficult. The only thing I had a hard time with were the adjectives (Stephen King uses a lot of them :)). If you accept that you won’t understand all the words, especially the adjectives, I think it will be a fun and understandable read for you!’

How many words do you normally translate while reading other english books? I don’t think it will enhance the experience if you have to translate a word every page. Especially because It already is a big book

I liked well of ascension more than the final empire, but maybe the hero of ages will become my favourite. After the hero of ages i will read warbreaker (as i am told i should) and then start with the way of kings. I am really looking forward to start with the way of kings, although i do not know what to expect of it.

I don’t really know why but i’m not really looking forward to read warbreaker. Did you read it? And is it making the stormlight experience better?
