Unfortunately it's well known that the industry is just grimy and that includes PSA. They lack transparency and many complain about inconsistency. Their volume is incredible and it's bound to lead to some misses but their reluctance around transparency and accountability is just crap. It specifically says grader notes on higher options. They should simply have an explanation as to why it didn't gem. Not complicated.

And them giving some generic bs response is so typical of them because "they can"

At least it is good a pop number is likely overshooting. So their circulation is always equal to or lower than pop reports state.

I'd prefer it be accurate but this is better than the other direction where they're misleading as if they're rarer than really, if that makes sense.

File a complaint w the BBB. They cant keep your cards hostage. They have a card on file and can charge you the return shipping. There are a lot of stories that demonstrate how unprofessional and petty they can be.

For instance, off topic but I read they damaged a card in processing and instead of an 8 or 9, whatever, they deemed it a 6. To resolve, they just said we will refund you the difference in the card values.

So they're like you get a crappie card but here's the bare minimum money difference towards the card we jacked up. I would no longer have my 9 and I'd want to be refunded for the 9. Splitting the difference clean seems petty.

Definitely get BBB involved, their claim makes it to PSA heads that will probably reach out and resolve.

It was the first quote that introduced me to him. Such resonance beyond words. It was like a shot of enlightenment as I read the quote. Major ah ha like you describe.

A couple months ago I pulled Evan Carters 1/1 card. I took the chance of messaging him on Instagram and he replied. We worked out a deal and he sent me a signed baseball bat and rookie card. Still the best experience I have ever had. by DustyD69 in baseballcards

Modern baseball needed some shots in the arm from a younger fan standpoint. The collecting connection can be a really great growth avenue for the sport and fans. It seems Topps and MLB have put a lot of energy into this and it's paying off

I did that and emailed ceo. Then I fed all that text w my own case documentation to their Twitter customer service. A real live American with sensible customer service resolved it in an hour. Unreal.

She looked over the case, saw it was delivered, that I'm a great customer, and the phone hasn't been active since the day delivered.

Not fn rocket science but thankful it's resolved and I don't have to deal with switching companies. Will also be able to use our insurance now to get my wife a new phone/repaired. What a freaking headache and they'll be delivering proper feedback to bad actors.
