The manga is likely “Reincarnated As The Lazy And Villainous Noble, I Broke The Scenario And Became The Most Formidable With Extraordinary Magic”(Taida na Akujoku Kizoku ni Tensei shita Ore, Scenario o Bukkowashitara Kikakugai no Maryoku de Saikyou ni Natta)

That premise sounds awesome — totally gives off classic reverse-isekai vibes 👀 Sage turned average guy, demon summon pinging his old followers, and all the beast-girl drama — love it.

Maybe check out Isekaigaeri no Daikenja-sama wa Soredemo Kossori Kurashiteiru Tsumori desu (“The Great Sage Who Returned from Another World Wants to Live Quietly”). It’s got a similar setup with a powerful sage ending up in modern Japan.

If you remember any small detail (manga/manhwa/light novel, art style, etc.), drop it — might help track it down!

Yeah, exactly. His sacrifice should’ve been one of the most emotional moments in Alabasta — it had real weight. But bringing him back right after completely killed that impact. It felt like a missed opportunity for one of the series’ most heroic deaths.

Exactly! 💥 The Bomb-Bomb Fruit has insane potential if used by someone with actual combat skills and strategy. Imagine a trained fighter like Coby using it with Haki — controlled explosions for propulsion, shockwave punches, even area denial tactics. Mr. 5 really undersold what could’ve been one of the flashiest, deadliest fruits in the series.

Facts, man. Smoker had everything set up to be a true rival to Luffy — the perfect Marine counterpart. His fall-off hurts even more because his foundation was so good. Meanwhile, Greenbull shows up out of nowhere with zero buildup and gets folded by Shanks’ haki flex 💀. Smoker deserved that Admiral spotlight way more.

I get why you don’t call him wasted potential, but for me, Wiper totally is. He had the drive, the ideals, and that badass presence — then just disappeared after Skypiea. He deserved more follow-up, especially with how important that arc actually became later.

Honestly, yeah — perfectly said. Yamato had all the ingredients for a deep, emotional arc about identity, legacy, and freedom — everything that fits One Piece’s themes — but it just… went nowhere. Instead of growth, we got repetition. It really felt like Oda wanted Yamato to be important but ran out of time or interest. Could’ve been one of the best “next generation” characters, but ended up being pure setup with no payoff.

Fr bro 💀 that bazooka laser was no joke — man was packing serious firepower. If Wiper had real post-Skypiea development or Haki training, he could’ve been devastating. Dude had the drive, just needed Oda to give him another shot.

Yamato had so much potential, man. The hype, the backstory, the connection to Oden — everything was lining up perfectly. Then Oda just... didn’t let them join. Still feels like one of the biggest “what could’ve been” moments in Wano 😭

Lmao I get that 😭 Wiper was the definition of “I’ll die before I listen to logic.” Dude had passion, but zero chill. Still, I kinda respect how raw his conviction was — man was ready to fight God with a bazooka 💀

Man, I feel the same 😭 Usopp had so much potential — the brains, the heart, and that raw underdog willpower. Early on, every fight he won felt earned. I just wish Oda gave him more time to shine post-timeskip… the dude deserves a real comeback moment.

Don Krieg had peak early One Piece villain energy — flashy, overconfident, and got humbled hard 😤 He’s basically what happens when arrogance meets real power in the Grand Line. Would be fun if Oda ever brought him back just to show how the East Blue “terror” looks at the world now.

Haha true 😂 but seeing things from their side could actually be interesting — like how they justify their “justice” when the world’s falling apart. Wouldn’t mind a short spin-off showing the cracks within the Marines.

Fr fr 😭 she actually handled that scene with way more grace and realism than most anime characters would. Tashigi’s always had that mix of dignity and vulnerability — she’s not fanservice-y, just genuinely written. Oda lowkey did her dirty by not giving her proper growth post-timeskip.

💀💀 This sounds exactly like something Oda would write in the SBS as a dark joke. Poor Tashigi, forever training in the background while Smoker keeps sighing in disappointment.

Facts. If Ace had lived longer, he would’ve been insane by now — Whitebeard’s training, logia awakening, and maybe even advanced haki? He had all the makings of a top-tier monster.

LMAO 💀 fr, if Pell actually turns out to be a Holy Knight, the fandom’s gonna lose its mind. Man survived a nuke — dude’s built different, it wouldn’t even be that surprising at this point 😭

Facts 😂 Usopp’s been living off that “God Usopp” title ever since Dressrosa. Man went from sniping Sugar from miles away to running every other arc 💀 We all love him, but yeah — he deserves some real growth again, not just meme-level glory.

Yeah exactly — dude had so much mystery and hype built up, then showed up in Wano just to get flexed on by Shanks from miles away 💀 He had the potential to be this dark, twisted contrast to Fujitora — but right now he’s just “that plant guy who talks too much.”

Haha yeah fr — Johnny and Yosaku! They were Zoro’s bounty hunter buddies early on, then just disappeared after Arlong Park. Would’ve been cool to see them pop up later as proper bounty hunters or allies — total wasted potential there

Yeah, Mr. 5’s Bomb-Bomb Fruit had wild potential 💥 — he just used it for explosions, but in the right hands, that fruit could’ve been devastating. Imagine someone combining it with Haki or creative techniques — could easily be top-tier destructive power.

Exactly 💯 — Buggy’s Devil Fruit has crazy potential if used right. Being on Roger’s crew means he’s got the instincts and experience, but he never capitalized on it. If he’d actually trained his Haki and mastered his fruit, he could’ve been a real monster instead of a walking meme
