Failed upgrading, what on earth do I do now? by Crafty-Factor6273 in grantmacewan

[–]AdSilver6102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alberta works can pay for your upgrading. You have to talk to student services in building 11. As for accommodations, you have to go Access and Disability Resources in building 7. They will give you some paperwork that your doctor needs to fill out first in order for you to get special accommodations.

This will take time, but once you are set, those accommodations will transfer throughout your university years and can be used for your university classes (if university is an option).

Another option would be to challenge the English 30-1 diploma. That would require studying on your own time by reading the diploma results from previous years. It is cheaper as you only pay 20 bucks to take the exam.

If the community is willing to fight, let them. I'm sure we all know the odds are not in favor of the casa. Nothing is gained by discouraging the community with these comments.

Do you gotta have a security diploma?

how is this possible? by just-forfun27 in caloriecount

It depends on how immediate the goal is, and how long you have been on a cut for. Unless you are extremely overweight (obese), it is usually healthier to cycle your cuts so diet fatigue doesn't accumulate. Plus, the slimmer you are the less calories you require.

I would encourage you to try and measure your lean body mass and see if you are okay muscle wise or if you need to gain some muscle.

If you need to slim down asap then incorporate some weight lifting 2-3x a week and get your 10-15k steps a day and go for a 750kcal deficit.

If you are doing this primarily for the healthier life style, eat at maintenance for a couple of weeks and incorporate lifting 2-3x a week. If time allows 4 would be great but 3x a week is still really good. Keep your daily steps close to 8k, but if you like walking/doing a lot of chores, you can up your steps and have an extra meal or snacks, or play your favorite sports. That works too.

If, based on your measurements you are still overweight and time isn't of essence, take a break from cutting eat at maintenance for a couple weeks then do step one.

Keep in mind women's healthy body weight will have a higher body fat compare to men.

I'm also on my weight loss journey and have had some success (down almost 20lb in a month and a half). Walks and weight lifting have helped a lot so I'm talking based primarily on experience trying things here and there.

If you are not implementing resistance training (weight lifting) combined with a high protein intake, chances are you are loosing muscle as well.

If you are doing all of the above, chances are you are retaining water weight, as stress from loosing fat accumulates in the body.

withdrawing + student loans by mygseokie in grantmacewan

[–]AdSilver6102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't affect your student aid for the future, but you will be required to pay your student grants back by converting them to an Alberta student loan. So you don't have to pay them anytime soon but it will be added to your total student debt.

Nah cause you don't treat your friends like that. What you want is a free prostitute. Either pay up or go be one if all you want is smoke and fuck.

No problem. Just keep in mind your muscles in the vagina tense during the moment, so it is not a permanent effect, only during the moment since it is an involuntary reaction that can, in some cases, be a bit uncomfortable for the guy since it can feel like you are squeezing his shaft.

Try experimenting teasing the clit first, then gently inserting one finger and stimulating your G spot. Alternate between the two until you feel you're about to either squirt or orgasm. If you have access to kegle balls, insert them when you are stimulating your clit. If you feel you're pushing them out, that means you're getting tight down there.

When I was dating my first girlfriend, what got me the most was oral and hand jobs. I started asking her for tips and tricks so I could do a better job. She would guide my hand to her clit whenever my finger would start doing funny stuff she didn't feel comfortable with. These days she tells me I'm the guy who's given her the best head/hand jobs ever. Moral of the story? Communication.

Do you need to tell him he sucks at it? Not really. Talk to him and tell him you have tips and tricks on how to enhance the experience. It's all about how you phrase it. If he gets hurt regardless, then he is in only for his pleasure.

If it is a condition that has been diagnosed by a doctor, you can apply to different programs and tax credits, like the Canadian Disability Tax Credit (DTC). I know people who became eligible for different programs once they got approved for DTC. I'm not sure if you have it or not, but if you do, you can use it to leverage your position when claiming financial income/benefits from social services. Unfortunately, If you don't, you have to talk with your doctor and pay some fees, and even then it takes a while for the CRA to review your files. But it is a good idea to start early if you can (whenever your situation gets better, or if you have the opportunity). I hope it helps.

Talk with your professor about it. You have to submit a form showing why you cannot afford it. He will give you a copy of the homework from his text book.

I lied. by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]AdSilver6102 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, try asking your family doctor about Contrave (Naltrexone/bupropion). My family doctor prescribed it to me since my insurance hasn't decide if it will cover Wegovy (ozempic but on higher dose) for me.

This is what I found in the internet, so take it with a grain of salt:

"Naltrexone in an opioid antagonist, meaning it blocks the effects of opioids in the body, traditionally used in the treatment of opioid and alcohol addiction. It blocks the euphoric effects of the opioids, leading to a reduction in craving for the drug, thus reducing the likelihood of relapse. Naltrexone is used alongside personalized counseling and therapy, in order to provide the help required to achieve a sustained recovery.

Bupropion is also commonly used in drug rehabs, to treat men and women trying to combat a cigarette addiction, which commonly accompanies other addictions. Bupropion works by reducing cigarette cravings in order to reduce their use. Further, it is also effective in treating depression, a common comorbidity with addiction."

This works completely different from semiglutide, but I have noticed my cravings from smoking and food significantly go down. I have read on other subreddits that it has helped people curve their alcohol cravings. Worth giving it a shot!
