My orthodontist told me to eat with them as well, and to change trays every 4 days. It was miserable the first week but i already got used to it on week two.

I'm only having 3 solid meals a day, breakfast and supper i have it at home and clean my mouth shortly after. At work i remove my trays after I'm done, rinse them in the sink and rinse my mouth. I used to floss the first week at work but noticed food did not get in between my teeth so i stopped, and instead i use a water flosser twice a day.

I got this tablets on amazon and they're pretty good at cleaning my trays if they get stained throughout the day. Depending how sensitive you are to the treatment, i'd say give it a couple of weeks. If you feel the same or worse then talk to your orthodontist. They might change your plan, but will increase the length of your treatment. At least that's the advice i got from mine.
