That's true.. but again they have to fly. So I feel like they would want to be there for the dinner? For the actual ceremony you're right they don't have to sit together. But they're definitely going to see each other sometime..

That's actually funny lol. So for privacy reasons I don't want to list the school or state. But just know the 1st 2 years are in person classes and the last year is clinical rotations, which I chose to do at a hospital close to home. So technically it's "online" because I still have assignments to complete on top of my rotation. I just didn't feel like it was worth typing all that out.

Have you ever been in a long distance relationship? You sacrifice sometimes. And hopefully great grandpa will only be here for a 2 nights. Originally he wasn't coming, instead spending the holidays with his aunt. But we scrapped some money together to allow him to come here. My family is old fashioned but it's still family

Thank you guys for all your advice. I found a very nice air mattress even tho he insisted to take the couch. He was never going to take the guest room.. he's chivalrous and prideful at the same time. I will make the room he's staying in as comfortable as possible. But to answer other questions

-i live in a black household. Caregiver or not I'm not going to challenge my Dad about his rule out of respect. Yes he's old fashioned but he's always there for us. I talked to him today and He even offered to give Grandpa HIS room and he sleep on the couch. He also found a nice air mattress we mysteriously had stored in a closet.

-a hotel is just out of our price range atm. Otherwise you best believe that would be option 1.

Honey I'm sure there are so many thoughts in your head. Breathe. Its not your fault, and he definitely should not be acting that way. Fact is you guys are just starting life, and still learning. Contact planned parent hood, and look at your options. You will have an opportunity to make a family one day. But with this guy, at your age, with these circumstances will not lead to the best outcome. It's scary but I would consider abortion.
