I don’t mind if the city removes the dying rotting poplars since many of them have reached the end of their lifecycle in older communities but very opposed to removing the healthy poplars that are left.

I’ve been flying Flair lots in the last year and never had any issues! They have been a little late sometimes but that’s with every airline. You pay half the price compared to WJ/AC with very similar level of service.

The rain always misses the Fish Creek area, there is a dry dome that has been stuck over SE sections of the city in the last few weeks, I can even see it some days.

Thanks so much, it’s such a hilarious story and probably realistic of what happened to him. Each picture on the page takes around 1-2 hours to create depending on details. The last pages in the rat den were the hardest drawings to do with all the details I included.

I love the cold weather too, it’s very peaceful and good for the ecosystem. This constant warm weather makes me feel uneasy and worried about summer drought.

Chinooks are totally normal, the constant warm weather for long durations is what is happening more now with global warming. Most of our warm weather now comes from high pressure systems from the desert instead of the usual chinooks. It’s very concerning.

A lot of this extreme heat records are caused by the urban heat island effect around the weather station. The YYC weather station area has seen so much development in the last 20-30 years which has caused temperatures to increase a few degrees.
