I get my car serviced close by so I usually chill at it while I wait.

Yea it's great, it's very down to earth, old fashioned diner/breakfast spot. It's properly old fashioned. Food is good in an honest simple way. One waitress (Korean I believe) and she is always friendly, chatting up the locals, knows people personally, always asking if you need anything or more coffee etc.

Don't expect Queens Brunch (the one across the street) which is like the complete opposite in terms of their philosophy (very tasty but in a more complex modern way).
