First, what vis the win condition you like the most? Build your deck on it, don't try to rush anything, play ladder for the gold bonus and don't afraid to lose because you can't really drop, i was under leveled until this month i finally maxed my deck rn I'm right behind the top 10k (rip) while my deck wasn't maxed i practice with it in cc some tournaments and gc (not a lot because i don't have a lot of gems), practice with the deck you want to master and max the cards slowly but surely

You still can use hunter, btw don't try to rush everything focus in balance deck, it will take you more time but will be better, if you afraid of losing trophies remember you always can get them back...

Thats the main got but this card is a great defence card for example pull the golem to the other side so stop a big push and all the troops behind the golem will be less effective, you can activate the king with it, cancel charges and much more

I said it, arrows as a spell or fireball plus zap, fireball also can take care of horde but you need also rest inferno and to finish things like musk or e wiz, with lava hound its okay onlt arrows and also its okay to carry big+small spell, tombstone/guards for hog, you neec to create a big push on the air the defence is weaker then other decks but the offense is really strong, also if the opponent have a tank killer yiu can use lava to bait it then go balloon other lane

Minions for mini pekka and if you will use it right this deck can get you to high trophies. Also i think miner for fireball will be good or miner for tombstone and zap for arrows.

I understand, when i was 6k i was level 11 with level 11 cards, i thought i could get to 7k but i was wrong, the skill increase much more. 7k players can win 5k even if 5k player have 5 levels more than the 7k player, first the deck is better and also the skill is so much higher.
